Thank you for mentioning Ichigoh Ramen in Deep Ellum Dallas. It kind of surprised me to see it mentioned here, and is one of the best but possibly unknown ramen restaurants in the USA. Unlike most america ramen shops, they import one of the best high quality ramen noodles from Hokkaido, Japan rather than buy cheaper noodles in America.
The ramen soup and sides are very good, I highly recommend the Niboshi Shoyu ramen. They also have great appetizers; chicken karaage, nukazuke pickles, gyoza, and so many more. Also they have many Japanese sake (nihonshu), whiskey, and beer selections. Unfortunately the owner unexpectedly passed away last year, but his wife took over the business and she works so hard to do a good job. Please go there if you can, you won’t be disappointed if you can get in. They can be very busy if you don’t come early.
Gotta say man, I'm an older guy but the last few years I've been watching your vids and you've reinvigorated my passion for fishing. Love your series and thank you for putting that motto back in my life, keep fishing, never stop! You ever come to Mississippi, I'd love to show you some great spots!

Always cool seeing spots I fish on here. You're probably 1 of the only people to put a boat up that creek. Gets super shallow. I normally hit it from the bank. Some tanks in there.
Jon, this is my first time commenting on your videos. I used to watch religiously, like so many of your subscribers. I watched you make some really sketchy decisions, like the time you and Peric fished in a lightning storm. You did some really amazing videos also, like the paddle trip in the Devils canyon, chasing bulls, etc. Along the way I got turned off by the way you sometimes handled the fish you caught. The flying releases of fish is not healthy for the very resource that has treated you so well. I appreciate the way you handled the fish you caught in this series, and the reverence of your words and your actions. I am not a gambling man, but if I were I would bet you can still be just as popular with a carful release of the fish. Wishing you continued success as I renew my interest in your videos.
I'm the biggest advocate of eating breakfast before going fishing. Homemade breakfast sandwiches, McDonalds drive-thru, breakfast tacos from your favorite Tex-Mex spot; ANYTHING is better than nothing. No breakfast means less energy to burn, also easier to get frustrated over not catching fish or losing a fish on a late hook set. Don't fish HANGRY, folks!

I use to Bass fish in canals and sometimes would think I'd have a huge Bass on and it would be a Snook. It even had a small Dam. One specific day I caught a Golden Shiner and it was huge about 5-10 inches long and used it right where the water fell from the Dam and hooked into a huge Snook and thought it was a huge Bass. Was lots of fun and recommend fishing in those small canals there fun fishing in. I've fished in Lake Okechobee since I was 2 years old and have fished those canals as well. All of it is fun just enjoy yourselves is most important I've also caught Peacock Bass and Stripper Bass as well in a lake near by where I live as well. The state I live in is Florida and you can catch almost anything here in this state I was born, in raised, and now raised my son in that was also born in. Thank you Jon B for this series and your time doing it because it matters in the fishing community to show that you can catch anything in these fresh water canals. Florida has Snakeheads,Knife fish that swims backwards,Peacocks, and many others. Saw that episode of you guys fishing with Scott Martin in Lake Okechobee a few years back. That was good as well to see you guys fishing there in Lake Okechobee 740sq miles of water it's the 2nd largest natural Lake in the US. Thank you again and have a great and safe day or night, peace
