Great power ballad...these guys deserved more, but the times, they were a'changin'! Guys were turning in their spandex for plaid shirts and unintelligible lyrics.
Prefer Bill's vocals on Four Winds, but beggars can't be chosen. Any Tangier is worth a listen...or ten. Definitely in my top 5 of most underrated bands, of all time.
I preferred four winds over this album. This was too much of a bubblegum metal album for me. I liked the original singer better as well. Was this the 1st thing Pam Anderson ever did? This would have been pre-home improvement.
Where's Bill Matssons Voice from the Debut album and more importantly from the Four Winds Album of 1989 Absolutely ridiculous to dump the Vocalist for the 2nd (& last Major label release) Talk about a poor decision They've could have had a lifetime career with a proper & authentic follow up to Four Winds Instead they threw the Lead Singer out One of the Very best things about the band and the aforementioned Album And instead tried to be run of the mill posers doing piss poor Foreigner imitations Nothing wrong with Foreigner If you are Foreigner Great band Superb But Tangier could have been a mainstay Hard Rock Blues Band developing and evolving into something great like MOLLY HATCHET or Whitesnake Instead they just disappeared
Man, I miss the days when Glam-Metal groups used to just randomly set up shop in the middle of the desert when their bus broke down. 🤭 Seriously though, this is mediocre power-ballad Glam-Metal. Tangier were never the same when they lost Bill Mattson. Mike LeCompt is a very good singer himself (as well as a multi-instrumentalist), but once they lost Bill Mattson's soulful, bluesy baritone, all the heart and soul were sucked out of this band. Sure, the _Stranded_ album had some good songs (especially "Down The Line," "Since You've Been Gone" and "Caution To The Wind") but the magic was clearly gone by then.
Pamela Anderson is absolutely beautiful here.
Agreed. Way before all the surgery looks like.
Back when Pam Anderson was fresh on the scene. Good times rock on
Shared a pitcher of beer with Mike LeCompt at the Dugout in Levittown, PA one night many moons ago when his band LeCompt was playing there.
Yeah, he still plays all over the Philly area and Jersey shore.
these guys are awesome. tangier fan from day 1
She is so much prettier "natural" / pre-Hollywood!
THIS VIDEO NEEDS MORE VIEWS !!!!

나의 최애 락발라드입니다
most Pam Anderson fans have no clue she was in this video she looked better here than later on when she looked like a gypsy
Some bands couldn't pick up enough steam and just ran out of time with grunge closing in. Great song none the less
EXCELLENT song. Thanks for posting.
STRANDED WITHOUT MY JOHN KERR. MY BABY LOVE
THIS SONG by TANGIER ROCKS MY WORLD ❤️😊❤
Back when Pam was hot.
Lecompt Rocks
Just seen the singer in an Ed Bassmaster video and had to look up this band. Not bad at all! Great era for music!
Singer is Mike Lecompt from the band LECOMPT
@@UncleJoeyR yeah, Absolute dross compared with the Original Bill Matssons voice
In fact
There's no comparison at all
Great power ballad...these guys deserved more, but the times, they were a'changin'! Guys were turning in their spandex for plaid shirts and unintelligible lyrics.
grunge sucked. it killed good music. and opened the door for crap. or rap same thing.
You are soooo right!!!!
More like heroin & meth addicted boys than guys, to hell with that loser Cobain that started it all...
@@gregorythielen4178 Good to hear some good old fashioned racism here. 💪🏻🙄🤦🏻♂️
Ooo pamela...
Is that Pam Anderson??
Yup just before she got famous
Nice cballad by them.

I LOVE. TANGIER AND MIKE LECOMPT AND. HIS. BAND. TOTALLY. AWEESOMENESS!!!!!!
Bobby Bender is a good drummer.
Nice guy too
This guy had a sexy voice.
Whoah so bad it's good

Totally
Infinitely Superiority

Talk about a poor decision
They've could have had a lifetime career with a proper & authentic follow up to Four Winds
Instead they threw the Lead Singer out
One of the Very best things about the band and the aforementioned Album
And instead tried to be run of the mill posers doing piss poor Foreigner imitations
Nothing wrong with Foreigner
If you are Foreigner
Great band
Superb
But Tangier could have been a mainstay Hard Rock Blues Band developing and evolving into something great like MOLLY HATCHET or Whitesnake
Instead they just disappeared
Sounds like Led Zeppelin to me
This is a decent song but I think Bill Mattson would have made it better!!!
The band was much better with the singer on the first album.

Strange video.

Soild band, but there first singer had a better voice
I never heard their first singer's voice, why did he leave the group?
@@princepaul6739Record company decision. I believe that they wanted a more radio-friendly voice.
