Indian workers & immigrants still follow the same filthy practices even outside India in rich countries .. an example is what I see in my own country everyday with Indian workers/immigrants who walk and spit on the ground everywhere to the limit where in some areas we have signs posted in Urdu just to deter them from spitting phlegm everywhere. Them throwing trash everywhere they go… making a shit hole out of any public toilet they frequently use… lack of personal hygiene even when living in an area where wash/rest rooms are all over the place… not to mention how they turn any area they cluster in into a slum-like area even when they are well paid and live in a country where all necessary amenities are provided..
In the video we can see trash thrown everywhere, cant people living around gather it into one area? We also see plugged extremely dirty public restrooms, cant the public who utilizes it cleans it, fix it, and try to keep it clean at-least.
Why walk for kilometers to shit in a bush or a beach if its so simple to dig out a septic tank and just use it?
To summarize, if people lack cleanliness and care about their community, then nothing can be done to help them.

I am from Mexico living in the USA for many years. We never had to poop outside and even the poorest people had private toilets and showers. The little town where I grew up in a rural area had always running water but not a sewer system when I was living there 25 years ago but every house had a septic system or outhouse and nobody had to poop in the open. The hygienic situation has improved a lot since I left, when I was a kid we always drank tap water and never got sick, I don’t do it anymore when I visit back there because I feel I will get sick because my immune system body is really weakened after living for so many years here.
I think India is a beautiful Country but I will probably never visit there because of all the nasty videos I have seen here, in Mexico we don’t have piles of trash in the streets and you don’t see poop or people bathing in the streets. I like Indian food because it’s a little like Mexican food with a lot of spice but probably I will only eat it here in the States where there are more sanitary controls in the restaurants, I would never feel comfortable eating in a restaurant in India, let alone eating street food next to poop, bunch of stray animals and mountains of trash.

This is just sad. Nobody deserves to have their dignity and privacy stripped from them. But what can you do? I just came from another video where 5 public toilets that were installed in a rural Indian village all had their water tanks stolen by drunkards and thieves within weeks. I cannot believe in this day and age that these poor people have to pay to use a public ‘toilet/washroom’ and I use those words ironically,instead of having these basic things in their own homes. Well,they don’t even have homes,they’re stuck in slums that I genuinely am horrified at! On top of that the majority DONT even get to use these public areas and have to go to the toilet in the street etc. How on earth can a country be allowed to still treat their own in such a disgraceful manner. I am so beyond shocked,this article has made me so angry and sad for these poor residents!! My heart goes out to them all.

Even more shocking is that thousands of girls & women in India get ra*ed while they shit in the open every single day.
They need to start building sewers systems to handle all the waste and get the population down to like 420 million people.

Also Indus Valley Civilization (which existed centuries before Rome) had sewage systems and flood drainage incorporated into city planning. Alright, they don't have money to build a toilet with plumbing... but it doesn't take a huge investment to put a big piece of wood from the trash, some black plastic bags to make a tent or a big old curtain to separate the one pooping from the public.. c'mon. This is not about the money, people with zero money can figure out how to make something to not be seen with even trash if needed and have separated places for men and women/children.
