That's a lotta trash
You know as poorly handled as the prequel trilogy is as a whole there's still a part of me that's glad they happened as it felt like something special, the untold story of Darth Vader's life. (Also I grew up with them so I am admittedly a bit biased.)
The sequels just didn't need to happen and even fucked up the prophecy from the six prior movies in the process because there was no plan and no structure. So now in the end Anakin didn't bring balance to the force and he suffered and struggled for nothing. How depressing.
Vinne has watched some anime before
I think it’s fair to say that liking the sequel trilogy makes you a genuinely terrible person. Disney is cartoonishly evil, and you have to be a cartoonishly evil individual to support them.
Oh my gosh the chat was rapping the danny phantom theme at him and he thought they were just telling him Danny's entire backstory LMAOOO
He's a phantom
Ammagon thanks moody blues’ ass
Hey guys, I'm the one who sent the last 3 GBA games (Meet The Robinsons, Danny Phantom and Winnie the Pooh) These were the only 3 GBA games I owned as a kid and I thought they'd fit very well here, I've always wanted to contribute to a Sunday stream. Shame I couldn't be live tho
So sorry to hear that! Hope they haven't put you off games forever.
Thank you John Teletubbies, shame you couldn't be there
@@Roverd26 Nah I was 4 year old at that time and I did enjoy the Winnie the Pooh game at that time but I mostly played only that one
You and me both played winnie the pooh then
So you did get the game submitted eh ; )
45:14 "Chat says it's all prerendered" "" that's still impressive, it's several minutes of FMV on a GBC cartridge.
You know, when it comes to bad games, there are some that are so bad you can tell how bad they are by the way they *sound.* Like, there's a certain way music and sound effects are put together that immediately cue you in that it's a bad game. Action 52 is probably the most notable example, but Quest for Camelot by and large hits all the same marks.
The ridiculous thing about Quest For Camelot is that it was made for a movie that could've benefited from a game version. You've got boss fights that get glossed over in the movie like the giant golem, plenty of fodder enemies like the flora monsters and the weapon hybrids, and two playable characters with different playstyles. Instead we got Link's Awakening without the Link. Or anything else good.
The sound design is intentional to ward off people, like a rattlesnake tail.
Say what you want, but the Cheetahmen theme was a banger.
Cheetahmen Theme is a certified hood classic, it literally rocks
You can tell a SNES game is trash when it has muffled, farty sounds so you are not wrong there.
Vinny you gotta come to my cousin's club it's called ColecoVision
Exclusive Club! Custom Console!
Ava. Mendes.
Wade Hixton's Counter Punch is definitely NOT garbage
Y'know, the studio that made the Max Payne GBA port went on to be bought by rockstar to become rockstar leeds, the main developer of mobile ports of GTA Games and PSP GTAs
That "Quest for Camelot" game was made using the exact same engine, structure and even sprites as the "Adventures of Hercules" one. You know, the one where the guy tells you to get out of his home and everyone in town only speaks to sailors?
Was that not also based on another low budget tv show or movie.
@@lemmingscanfly5 it was
PLEASE GOD. I CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT YOU.
"How did these people even learn speech, if everyone only speaks to SaiLors aND THERE AIN'T NO SAILORS ROUND TOWN."
Danny Phantom and Lizzie McGuirre posing while Goku stares at Pamela Anderson's breasts is not something I expected to see today
God bless the fine individual who included the image in the Quest for Camelot folder, got me good
You're welcome
@@magicmush1998 if that guy looks like THAT the whole movie I should watch it
Fun fact, the Trolls game was developed by the same people as the wrestling game.
Hearing Vinny say the names of the alien species from Animorphs was the most surreal thing to come out of this for me
I read some of these books as a kid and I don't know how I didn't end up with severe depression sooner
Frogger GBA has to have one of the most generous health bars I've ever seen in a platformer. Doesn't look _terrible,_ either, clearly going for a Donkey Frog Country, but the sound effects remind me more of Wild Woody.
The team that made Max Payne for GBA actually got bought by Rockstar after it released because they thought they had potential. This same team made the PSP Grand Theft Auto games.
Chinatown Wars? That’s a good game. Talented team.
Wade Hixton's Counter-Punch is actually a pretty solid substitute for Punch-Out, seeing as the latter never had a handheld installment. The difficulty spikes to a cruelly hard level for the final fight, but otherwise it's pretty fun. Would suggest checking out.
Man as a kid I never realized there were actual techniques I could use ingame so I was playing with only hitting and dodging at the time, the final boss was straight up impossible to me lmao
@@ruuji. Don't feel too bad. I upgraded Wade's special, fought dirty with Mac, and still never even came close. I did like the different techniques and stuff, though. Makes the game feel unique enough to warrant its existence as more than just a Punch-Out clone, albeit one with a disappointingly small roster.
Something about the character designs in that game seems incredibly familiar, but I can't put my finger on what it's reminding me of.
biaza Wade reminds me of Kaiji
it's the mullet
They put an unreasonable amount of work into that Pamela Anderson game
Bruh. I saw "trollz" in the pinned comment and I immediately remembered that show. I still have a dvd for it. I need to get rid of it or give it away. I'm way too old for it.
It's not that you're too old for it; you can enjoy anything at any age as long as it's good.
_As long as it's good._ Trollz was not.
Vinny almost got away with that coldstart after the fish opening, but I heard a little snicker in his voice
Wade Hixton is a surprisingly good game, dodging takes a while time it right though. Its one of these games that would be better on ANYTHING with a higher resolution.
Also, has Vinny played the Vigilante 8 GBC port yet? I think this, GTA and The Sims on the GBA are some games he has to see.
The GBA version of The Sims: Bustin' Out was really good, as I recall.
The fact that I never noticed the similarities between Garfield and cartoon Lizzie kinda annoys me now and I hate you for bringing up the comparison vinny
Genuinely?
There's actually a lot of charm to Wade Hixton's artstyle, and as for a Punch-Out ripoff, it doesn't look like it plays too awful. Honestly might keep eye out to see if I can grab myself a copy for cheap.
22:05
Oh god, The Glove of Darth Vader. I remember reading that one back in high school. If I remember correctly, they essentially modified the titular glove so that the victim would be incapacitated by having their eardrums burst in place of a force choke. Really dumb plot, but the moment where Luke Skywalker threw one of the baddies into the path of said attack was satisfying as hell.
Holy crap Animorphs. There's a nostalgia trip and a half.
There's a dude in the books that turned into a hawk and just stayed like that. Best judgement.
Wasn't he a parrot? Or a parakeet? Is there another bird man?
@@eveandaedrul I dunno I only read like the first book or two.
1:08:06 I never thought I'd ever see the DiC Entertainment logo on a video game before 0_0
I loved max payne on the gba, even though it was extremely jank
Ye i tried to play that once, but boi those controls
I can imagine a D-pad to control a character in an isometric perspective is not easy.
Chad Schmaltz But the isometric angle was a GBA staple.
The slow down thing just looked like it was dropping frame rates
@@lemmingscanfly5 What kind of warped childhood did you have
Do Star Wars fans actually like Star Wars? My entire life I have heard fans complaining about the franchise, everything being garbage, yearning for a lost Golden Age that may never existed.
I'm a star wars fan and i do like star wars. I think its fan base can be very divisive and hard to please when it comes to discussing the movies and stuff, but that makes sense, since SW is so big everywhere
There's Star Wars fans who hate Star Wars (unironically), Star Wars fans who loves different Star Wars movies/series and fight about them, and there's Star Wars fans who loves the franchise, but people made fun about them, remember the Clone Wars 2008 intro? it's basically that, "A Galaxy Divided!"
I am a Star Wars fan too and I love all the universe, but I don't like some things like how bad is Episode II or how the main story on the movies ended, but I don't fight with others about that, is just a personal thing and everyone has their own opinion/tastes
You know what the thing is?
You can't 'hate' something you arr 'indifferent' off
What I mean that (Star Wars) fans are invested in a franchise. And if something went wrong, they would hate it
Fot example, I didn't watch GoT. So I didn't hate the ending. I was indifferent and feit terrible who did hate ot
@@WDWatameVirus the prequels are glorious masterpieces compared to the sequel trilogy.
Sounds like the pokemon fanbase
I own Urban Jungle, I've played it as a kid, and I actually like it.
The first game I ever saw emulated was Animorphs for the Game Boy on someone's laptop in my freshman dorm in college. Animorphs never got a good official game.
Maybe after the movie comes out we'll finally get a good game made from it
@@silvermoon3717 I would bet money the movie will be butchered worse than the artemis fowl, percy jackson, or eragon movies. There's a curse that prevents any young adult novels that don't have the words "harry potter" in their title from getting good adaptations
@@KingHalbatorix wait Eragon was a novel?
@@silvermoon3717 They're making a movie? I had heard about a comic.
I fear a movie.
@@ammagon4519 yea the first one was decent the rest are just eh
Each transformation sequence in Animorphs is like one of those arts from Furaffinity.
I love it when Uncle Vinny plays games of IP's from after his time and people in chat try to give him context. It's like explaining what E3 and Gaming is too a Grand Parent, and not a hip Grand Parent who still has it, I am talking the kind of Grand Parent who is REALLY out of touch.
I played the living shit out of that Earthworm Jim GBC game. That music was stuck in my head all day every day.
I still have that Attack of the Clones Gameboy game somewhere... Seeing Vinny play it made me realize it was so much worse than I remembered
and that was the first vinesauce live that i watched on twitch
I absolutely love this intro
It's kind of cute...
I can't believe the Pamela Anderson game was the best one in the collection
I can't believe I actually liked the music and the pixel art
That Ice Nine game is insanely similar to the Ecks vs Sever game which was also for Game Boy Advance.
Ice Nine lost its license to its original source material and crafted out a game anyway while Ecks vs Sever followed the script to the first movie of the two movies. However, the first movie never happened and it was just the game. Both of these games even play exactly the same. No music during gameplay as well.
In VIP the ladder sound effects are from half-life.
Wade Hixton's Counter Punch looks like one of those fake parody video games you'd see someone play in a cartoon.
I love it when Vinny inadvertently reminds everyone of the simple pleasures in life. Like how season 1&2 of Ren and Stimpy are the only good seasons and now I feel like watching my DVD box set of season 1&2.
The Quest for Camelot game reminds of the Hercules game that Titus made as well, probably used the same game engine. Guess Kayley can only talk to sailors here.
Starting off with the big Bobbys huh?
Gotta draw in an audience!
if anyone is asking the bobbys are at 2:25
I fricking loved and played that winnie the pooh game as a kid
25:03 Speaking of, Vincent should still play Punch-Out Wii some day!
I remember him mentioning it here and there and I would be very excited to see what he thinks of it.
And he MUST do it with motion controls.
Man that picture in my head of vinny playing trollz killed me
You forgot to mention the song play in background when he was playing the game
massive nostalgia for the ripping friends game, played like arse but gettting used to it and finishing it was fun
Yeeeessss, i really wanted to see Vinny play some trash
47:12
The duality of man. It's nearly poetic lmao.
Ah yes, Pamela Anderson's VIP
Or as its better known, Meet the Robertsons
Ok that animorphs game was super nostalgic for me. I own that game and would play it often 🥰 was great
the animorphs game took me back man
Wait why is Wade Hixton's Counter Punch in here? I thought the game was great even if it was a little similar to Punch-Out, but with its own charm.
I played Taiketsu way more that anyone ever should. Learned all the special moves. Beat the arcade with every characters. The core gameplay isnt acceptable for a fighting game. No collision of any kind.
My favorite animals. Dog, Goat, and Hork-bajir.
Love the new intro bro
Trollz from the 2000s was the best troll doll phase. Its high up there with nostalgic shows that were underrated.
Your nostalgia goggles are so thick that you're practically blind
Did vinny ever play the polly pocket gba game? I remember playing that all the time when I was a little girl. Idk why but I would be amused if he played it.
Yeah, I think he played it in a past GBA Trash stream
1:01:08 My favorite thing about this game will forever be how derpy Goku's face looks when he's charging Ki. Seriously, just pause it and look at that face.
8:47 Oh my god, I know that explosion sprite... That's about as "stock effect" as you can get!
man that pamela anderson game hoo boy i gotta take a break from the video and it just started goddamn 😫😫🥵🥵
One Piece anatomy lmao
the tv show was good when i was a 13 year old boy
I don't know anything about Pamela Anderson other than what she looks like and the fact that she has big robertsons.

@@laurenchinsphealsupremacis9978 She was a model who wanted to be an actress but she can't act, so now she mainly sells her name for garbo infomercial products.
I love when someone gets all surprised that Vinny didn't watch and develop fond memories of some babby cartoon that aired when he was in his 20s.
If those people had been a few years older when it came out, they would be able to see that it wasn't very good anyway.
I had the Lizzie game as a kid... don't remember that much... just was a series of mini games for the most part.
that danny phantom game brings back memories
"WATSE ZEREKA TUTSA!" is also my favourite DBZ move.
I still think the funniest thing about Taiketsu is literally "Sky Battle to Win" the Videogame... and how do you trigger the sky battles? Down Down Up, then B.
I was in the right age bracket for Animorphs as a kid, and so I had all the books. I haven't thought about them in years, seeing the word "Hork-Bajir" unlocked a whole host of memories I had long buried.
Never had any of the games, looks like I dodged quite a bullet.
I can't fucking believe there's a Ripping Friends game, let alone anyone outside of Canada who's aware of it.
It's basically Ren and Stimpy but a superhero show.
Holy shit I remember that Lizzie McGuire game. I think I still have it
It's a shame that Danny Phantom couldn't have had a better track record in video games, because it was an awesome series.
Lol, I had, and still have, Episode 2 for Gameboy. It was the only video game I hated when I was a kid, and I had Superman 64.
When i first press the video i thought i mistakenly press the wrong one realizing that it was just the vinesauce experience
The music in the Danny Phantom game reminds me of Diagonal Girl by Mint Royale.
oh god, i had the animorphs game
David A. Palmer Productions made two games in this collection: That being Star Wars Episode 2 and Menace 2 The Galaxy. What a shame. They've actually done decent work with porting games to the Game Boy consoles such as Commander Keen, Tokyo Xtreme Racer Advance, Gex, and Doom.
Seeing that Earthworm Jim game hurts because that along with Earthworm Jim 3D is what destroyed the name of the series altogether.
Hey. Thanks for the shoutout, but I don't actually recall sending in any GB/GBA games (unless I'm misremembering).
VIP on the GBA still looks way more playable than the PS1 version.
All you have to do in that game is just click random buttons.
I'm going to say it right here: I have all three of the Lizzie McGuire GBA games because I decided to get them all, except the second one was a hand-me-down.
You know, if Konami allowed Frogger to be a streamer, his name on Twitch would be *Progger.*
Geez, that Meet the Robinsons game released late for a GBA game
Best intro E V E R
i had the whinnie the pooh one
i couldn't get very far but i still played the same sections over and over because i loved winnie the pooh
the piglet section gave me nightmares i think
Ohh no the poor fish
Was the book shadows of the empire? That was basically the only star wars book I read and I remember something about a glove
If that intro wasn’t the definition of cursed, I don’t know what is
I had Magical Racing Tour on the PS1. Pretty decent kart racer.
9:11 Wait who are those droids? Megaman X2 Chameleon Robot and Christmas balls who shoots lasers? do they even exist in Star Wars universe or are related to the movie?
(Anyways really agree with Vinny about Episode II, Clone Wars for me is way better than the movie)
Which Clone Wars, the 2003 Clone Wars, the 2008 film, or the 2008 TV show based on the film, in which both shows are leaps & bounds better than the film.
@@busterthejedi8446 I think all Clone Wars series are good, basically because they did what Episode II didn't did neither show us
Now, for me Clone Wars 2003 is waaay better than Clone Wars 2008 because is kinda more realistic in fights (the most notorious example: Grievous 2003 compared to Grievous 2008) and also the story is kinda more amazing, but I grew up watching Clone Wars 2008 in CN and I can say it's good too, love the story and also love how they explain all the battles during the clone wars and the fall of the republic
49:32 WAS THAT THE DOOM ROCKET LAUNCHER SOUND EFFECT OH MY GOD
Ah Max Payne was my first GBA game, I loved it!
I USED TO PLAY THAT FROGGER GAMEEEEEE AAAAAAAAAA
Always enjoy Vinny dredging the turds of old console's libraries
I remember that Danny Phantom game, I had that and the Ultimate Enemy one. They were alright. Nothing to really say much about though tbh.
I don't know how that" can your balls explode from farting too hard" got me
The cell phone version of Carmageddon is also good, because it's a free port of the PC version with no ads
Someome should take max payne and Make a resident evil one romhack (edit: forgot how to spell his last name)
Holy fuck I know that Winnie the Pooh game it was one of my first video games ever and it made me cry because everything looked like That and there were bees that stung me
I just ordered dinner. Perfect thing to watch after I pick it up...?
I love Dinner and a Show, and Uncle Vinny puts on a good show!
@Layne Krusz Well if you've gone everywhere you're gonna see it at some point...
what if frogger had a fanbase
Is it just me or was Vinny really on edge and way more agresive in this part of the stream?
Yeah I kinda agree
I mean given everything thats happened past months i understand why he would be easily agitated.
@@andnox what happened?
In the wrestling game, i can confirm that all of the roster in that game is real. (i know alot about pro wrestling)
I enjoyed Max Payne on GBA quite a bit, and it got some pretty good critic scores.
Oh god I remember that troll dolls theme
