I originally was using modified sheet metal nibblers which were really cheap but they wear down fairly quickly and I went to replace my pair and by that time they were around $20 which was insane for how cheap they used to be and stewmac's deluxe fret nippers were on sale for around $65. I just bought stewmacs and they are worth the price for sure over those crappy nibblers.
Had to claim on a file that died on me, super easy process, no questions asked, just sent me a new one. Will always recommend SM

yep... exactly... just buy the quality tools... you won't get a better customer service experience for tool replacement than Stewmac.
