i really like your guitars and basses and think your really smart with your ides very comfortable sounds good to thumbs up from me in australia ithink your going to come up with better designs soon just keep the good energy the knowledge reading and a open mind and heart
I'm amazed at myself that I have never come across these beautiful instruments before. Whilst I don't have anything against modern shapes and designs, I've really never liked Warwicks and the like; I'm all about Fender's creations from the P-bass to the Stingray. But I'm in love with this. There are echoes of old school in there and yet it is wonderfully contemporary. Also, they just look comfortable. Even before you said it, I could see that ergonomics were very important to you.
Hi and thanks very much for your kind and thoughtful comments! Yes, a lot of the initial inspiration for my guitar and bass designs came from classic 50's and 60's objects, particularly cars with their swooping lines and combinations of colour and chrome, so there is a retro feel to them, which I like to combine with modern materials and design sensibility too. Although I've been making my instruments since 1994, I only make relatively small numbers all by hand, so they are still a relatively unusual sight and perhaps why you haven't come across them before. Thanks for getting in touch and all the best, Simon.
Thanks very much, that's very kind of you! Yes I think you're right, musical instruments should delight and inspire the musician to help them perform at their best. Simon.
Thanks Andrew, very kind of you! Yes, it was my full intention to offer something completely different without any particular ties to what has come before. Any maintenance is also very easy to perform as you suggest, though with the carbon fibre construction they should require minimal 'fettling'. All the best, Simon.

Simon, you are a bright light in the art of guitar/bass making. It is obvious to me, an instrument that performs art, should look like art. Peace
By the way subbed ya.
