Our first two kids are 14 months apart and I'm pregnant with our third. We always do one-bedroom suite hotels; the toddlers share a room at home and are totally fine to share a sleep space at the hotel and then we have a more private space to stay awake a little longer and watch TV. We also always take two diaper bags; our regular cross-body diaper bag packed to the max and a small cross-body bag packed with one or two changes per kid. Refill the small diaper bag out of the big diaper bag when needed. That way both parents have everything they need for changes, but the smaller bag works better for airplane and train bathroom change stations. Also, portable sound machines with built-in night lights. It makes on-the-go naps so much easier.
