The Maritime accent thing made me chuckle, I live in NB and never noticed my accent until I started working in a Canada-wide call centre and customers kept pointing it out 😂

Ooh. Sam, I'm so sorry! I've had a corneal ulcer and that is a THING.
I have 2 dads and my mom hasn’t always been a good parent so I have personally always wished I had a closer mom. My kids on the other hand (I have a daughter and a son) they have different fathers and neither of their fathers have been very good parents and not there for them. I know both of my kids have had a really hard time without having fathers in their lives. It is especially bad once they’re in school. I wish you guys luck. I know how hard it is if you ever need to chat let me know
