EAS Snenario: Stay underground!
Storm chasers: *Imma pretend like I didn't see that*
TORNADO WARNING HAS BEEN ISSUED UNTIL SEVEN PM THE SHELTER TORNADO DO NOT SEE A TORNADO WARNING. YES TORNADO WARNING HAS BEEN ISSUED UNTIL 10
12 PM THE STORM TORNADO WARNING SEEN SHELTER IMPOSTOR STORM TORNADO SEVEN THUNDERSTORM FLASH FLOODING DO NOT YOU CAR WITH A STORM DO NOT FLOOD ALERT 🚨
Well, thank God that Staten Island, located right between Brooklyn, Manhattan and New Jersey is apparently unharmed by the tornadoes.
50 mile wide tornado with speeds in excess of mach 1 to mach 2, and no air pressure at all or something, so anything pressurized just explodes, *including animals and people because we're also pressurized*
The way the voice says "Take cover now." Sounds more like "Takecovernow."
Well done, EASexperience. Just another fantastic video!
Good job man sounds so real!!!
FYI, bucks county is in PA
I think there may be another location error. Because in the first tornado warning for NYC, it says Richmond is in NE New Jersey, but it's technically part of New York.
7:41 Bucks is in PA...
9:21 its still says Bucks, Nj...
Ray Lewis before tornado: 😐. After: 😭😭😢.
Lol
679 Steelers your 🆕 a 6 6 to to you you see see can can to to you you
These are great!! Keep up the Awesome work!!
Iowa
Some people say lay down in a flat spot, but doesn't it actually say to go find a ditch? Oh well.
ripme412 A ditch (unflooded, of course) would be preferable. The idea is to make yourself as low-profile as you can and get what shielding against wind/debris you can while also being out of the way of potential falling/flying things--that is, don't shelter under trees, near cars, and so on.
My local office is the first one featured, but one thing you could've done better is The national weather service in Sterling, VA has issued a Tornado Warning for East Montgomery County in *area of Maryland* instead of Maryland. Also if all those counties were listed, Loudoun County should've been on that list, saying Reston is just over the Loudoun County/Fairfax County border.
Very interesting. Had this been real, it would have indeed been frightening. I suppose it is possible for an event like this to occur on the East Coast. I attend university in Berks, PA, so I can guess that my meteorology professor would have had us looking for rotation, wall clouds and the like before having us take shelter.
Here is one good connection I wanna make this video, from April 2017, I and the southeast states like AL, GA, FL, SC, and NC had a outbreak of what was suppose to be a tornado outbreak. Where I live, the risk of a tornado was high, that was because the pink shaded tornado risk meant the risk was HIGH and it extended from Jacksonville, FL to the South Carolina low country.
I’m from Beaufort SC. Don’t live there now as we had a house fire but this is the first I’m hearing about this? See how little they talk about other places having this kind of disaster?
Yes, you will have to wait for about one week (it will be posted next week barring any significant circumstances)
No, the October feature video is mine (Halloween Special 2012), but November will likely come from suggestions.
EF9 Tuscaloosa/Birmingham Alabama EAS scenario
Can you make one of the EAS broadcasting a Tornado Warning for Lake County, IL, and Cook County, IL until 12:30 AM CST with the Tom voice, along with a Severe weather statement for a tornado outbreak. (and a Local Area Emergency after that?) Please. I love your videos and I just subscribed today, because I cant wait for more, so please make my request. :)
🎹
I have a question about something I've never really paid attention to before.
I notice that you use a lot of different kinds of screens here. I've seen many of them in person before, but are they specific to different warning systems? I know Comcast uses the black background\white text (and vice versa), but where do the others come from? (On that note, are there certain situations that warrant the use of black text on white background as opposed to the opposite?)
Different stations use different screens. It doesn't mean anything.
Different stations and cable service providers (CSPs) use different ENDECs. AFAIK, there is no standard for visual broadcast of the EAS outside of providing a visual descriptor of the situation in text for those hard of hearing and deaf.
This seems like a pretty real scenario in my opinion.
all 50 states have recorded tornadoes & one day this could happen, I live in essex md near dundalk md so I would be fucked lol now i may try to get a quick glimpse before I hauled ass to the basement tho lol.
I have a request for you. Can you do a EAS test video?
I had a Tornado Warning the other day. And I live in Maine so that scared me. Luckily there was no tornado. Just heavy rainfall and a thunderstorm.
That meant there was rotation. It might have been obscured by the rain.
Google
Would it be possible to do a major severe tornado outbreak for all of the lower peninsula of Michigan with a major tornado directed at Pinconning, MI
It's a scenario.
And then 9/1/21 happened.
Nuff said. Thanks, Ida, thanks for that
I had 8-12 inches of rain during Ida with major flooding. The tornadoes missed me to my south. My community college campuses closed for two days in the aftermath of Ida.
I thought Bucks county was in Pennsylvania.
It is
It would be bad for me because I live on the south western border of Baltimore city so we would probably get debris from the tornado or get hit by it? I don’t really know if it would hit us
Don't watch this at night you're going to get horrible nightmares
how about a demon turkey alert?
(tukrys want revenge?)
🦅
there is a NWS office in Sterling too
there was a outbreak a couple months ago in Virginia
Sorry guys - if it's in Berks County and headed east, it won't hit West Chester, Drexel Hill, or Philly... it'll miss them to the north. Otherwise - very realistic and kind of scary, especially the Tornado Emergencies for Baltimore and Trenton.
You are correct sir in real life it would miss Philadelphia, I just think the creator of this video used Philadelphia because it is one of the most recognizable cities people would know unlike a lot of those small towns people would not know.
Of course my area never is in the warned area. Every where I go it seems nothing interesting happens like this. Call me crazy but I wish I was in the warned area.
I watched this at 1:24 AM on Wednesday July 30th, 2014.
Tornado scenario for Norfolk, Virginia beach and the outer banks

Fairfax County, huh?
Isn't that where the Bunny Man lives?
"MESSAGE FROM THE EAS EXPERIENCE."
