EDIT: It was a test tornado warning? the only test i've heard from the EAS was a normal test where they say "this is a test of the emergency alert system" or smth like that

every other country's eas sound basic but just the sound of 3 screeching noises and a long beep makes an eas alert more interesting imo + the tts voice

This is very interesting. I'm used to the late 2000s warnings since we lost cable early in the 2010s. It's cool to see what these look like on TVs nowadays.
Some people still have cable and with the max subscription, also with dish you can literally have 71 music channels ontop of the regular 411.

20:29 we used to have the exact same thing where there would be the script on the top of the screen. Kinda funny bedtime my local news station is also 13. Also the news station also had the picture of the counties as well.

I was in the 2010 one and my power was shutoff I was watching something on tv couldn't remember what than heard tornado warning

2013: Moore and El Reno
2011 April 27th Super Outbreak and Joplin
El Reno, Oklahoma was also struck by an EF-5 tornado on May 24th, 2011. Though not many people outside of Oklahoma know about this particular tornado hitting El Reno because it occurred just two days after the EF-5 tornado in Joplin, Missouri; it's also overshadowed by the (controversially rated) EF-3 tornado that hit El Reno on May 31st, 2013.

In my opinion the two most unknown tornadoes in 2013 were the EF-4 tornadoes that struck Hattiesburg, Mississippi on February 10th and Washington, Illinois on November 17th. The tornado that struck Hattiesburg was a wedge tornado just like the ones that struck Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Joplin, Missouri just two years earlier; but fortunately there were no fatalities and only eighty-two injuries in this tornado. It badly damaged or destroyed numerous businesses and vehicles on Hardy Street and Oak Grove Road in downtown Hattiesburg along with numerous houses in residential areas of the city and damaging residence halls on the campus of the University of Southern Mississippi. Fortunately there were very few students and faculty members of USM on campus that Sunday as they had gone to New Orleans for Mardi Gras weekend. The tornado that struck Washington, Illinois is particularly bewildering because of the time of year it occurred. You really don't expect a tornado to strike in late November and as a result the residents of Washington had gone from being excited for Thanksgiving and Christmas to a sense of heartbreak, helplessness and confusion. To add to their misery it snowed a week after the tornado; which hindered cleanup efforts. By an absolute miracle none of the churches in Washington were hit; which was fortunate as it was a Sunday and many people were attending church services. One such person was the city's mayor Gary Manier.

The first one is fake and a mock how i know this is that the tone is pitched down the font is not pixelated and TV recordings at the time we’re actually pretty good quality and not glitchy so dont worry no one really had to see this on their TV
