I wouldn't say the franchise hasn't had any good villains since wesker died. The baker family was top notch and obviously Lady D and Heisenburg were great too
To be fair, you could still argue that since they weren't main villains like Wesker was in RE1 and RE5 that he was the last good antagonist. Before Wesker's death the decision a henchman was better than their boss was a debate between games where the antagonist had a chance of winning or even had odds in their favor. After his death henchmen reigned supreme. With the mastermind being overshadowed by their puppets.
Kill Wesker was by far the worst decision ever took for RE5

I hope this sets up for Wesker to be the villain of RE6(R) like he was supposed to be, instead of the mustache-twirling nobody we got. (I'm certain that re6 remake can be a hit with story tweaks, like wesker's inclusion, and obvious gameplay changes.)

Fans loved Luis and yet, Capcom stuck to what was established and killed him off in 4Remake, while at least giving him more screentime and plot relevance(both in 4 and the series as a whole, as it's now confirmed he worked for Umbrella and helped make Nemesis)
Wesker's death will remain, people really need to just accept he's gone.
Luis isn't even on the same level as wesker. Luis was always a side character wesker has always been a main. Wesker should've never been killed in the first place

I'm not gonna exactly cry if they do somehow retcon his death, but I'd much prefer if it just stays the same, especially because his death has it's own weight that a retcon would ruin.
They do somewhat have a new villain in the form of "The Connections" but they've been almost entirely offscreen with basically no named members besides Mia Winters and that guy she was shown working with in 7(Alan I think?)
There's also Alex Wesker, she's implied to have successfully implanted herself into that girl at the end of Revelations 2, so that might come back eventually.

Change the title of the video to remake not reboot the term reboot is you are changing something the story the characters a remake you are remaking it but keeping the story intact with adding new things to it so if they do Remake RE5 which is or will probably happen it wont be a reboot that would not make sense

idk I doubt they'd "reboot" it, which would imply that the game is going to be completely different. It's likely to be a remake like the others. And I actually can see them keeping wesker alive. To be honest, all those years ago (15yrs+) I always thought it was odd that the rockets both missed weaker. Although explosions don't necessarily have to hit the exact target, it always seemed like a possibility that he could come back due to him being who he is, and that last RPG shot playing out the way it did. That being said, considering it is a "remake", them changing story details like that is still plausible as they did it with RE4RE when Leon was the one who fought the scariest monster in the game (I believe it was called the U8), in the remake Ada has the honor of fighting this monster as well as being the one who walks into the laser hallway trap. It would be awesome to see that Wesker survives.
Moreover, Resident Evil 4 Remake was also completely "made from scratch", that quite literally means that they aren't using any assets from their previous version of the game such as models for characters, environments, animations, textures, etc. This doesn't mean that they "rebooted" RE4, as "rebooting" means that even the story has been heavily altered. This quite obviously is a remake of the original RE5 with possible alterations in how the story carries itself out. As you said, for example, Luis being killed by Crauser in the remake, however Luis ultimately still dies and does not continue to influence the story, heavily altering it from the original source material.

Actually the information u got is wrong. Yes we all love wesker but the creators are still going to kill him off in the remake. That's cause they would have to change some resident evil history files if they keep him alive. Also if he don't die in the remake who would be the boss in re5?
He says he will still be the end game boss but he will survive and we will see him in post credit scene

I actually did like the og re5 for what it was but sometimes it was a bit to much so i welcome a rework but not a total rework do it like the did it with re4r cut the things that slow the games pace down or dosen’t make sanse. As for Wesker to survive Yea i would not mind that to i miss him in the games even although i did end like Jack Baker and lady D

Well re5 was very unrealistic, wesker had like 5 times to kill both chris and sheva and he didn't because of ''plot armor''. the moment wesker fell out of the plane he randomly spawned back on the plane while he felll way before they crashed into the volcano, meaning that he shouldn't have been in the volcano area. They are going to have to completely rewrite re5 to remake it. Also i think wesker should come back but he doesn't need to be present in the new mainline games, just letting us know that he is still out there will do the work.

If Wesker survives in the Resident Evil 5 remake, I want to see Wesker using the Uroborus ability and the ability to eat humans by summoning that tenticles around his mouth in order to gain more power, meaning that if Wesker eats human, he might be able to gain his powers back as well as summoning the Uroboros tentacles.
