The best way to get noticed is to do something big. If he was quiet about everything, it would have made the back page in your local paper. He was trying to get his point across because he believes in what he was doing.

He has every right to feel frustrated, some idiots think seeing an old man irritated is funny, shows how much they have in their own heads. This modern renaissance man is an intellectual giant compared to many interviewers that struggle to refute him in any way. He speaks the truth that people sometimes don't want to hear or can't understand. He wil be like one of the greats that during their times were never understood.

By the way, remember Dr. Kevorkian's seat belt analogy the next time a motorcycle rider blows by you wearing no shirt and no helmut. Is he really safer because he's not breaking any laws?

He's crazy angry in this interview, but anyone who does their due diligence in knowing what aim and ideal he was setting out to achieve, knows he was a progressive who was ahead of his time. If he wouldn't have done the 60 minutes ordeal and not taken it a step further for his last patient, he would be widely revered as a revolutionary by now!...its my life and what I do with it is my right!

I don't support Physician Assisted Suicide. But, I cannot deny that Dr. Jack Kevorkian has a positive impact on society. Why? Because he forces us to think. He forces us to think about an issue that most people are uncomfortable thinking about. And he forces us to think about what our values are as human beings. Any time we are forced to challenge our views, we grow toward a higher level of ethical standards. For that, Dr. Jack Kevorkian has my utmost respect.

I have to say, this guy has to work on his image, when that is said... i must admit i have the utter most respect for him, because he speaks the truth and not only does he speak the truth, everybody can do that, Dr.phil, Ophrah... this guy also sacrifices his own life, his own image - going to jail, in solitude and disrespect so other people can die peacefully. Thats what A hero is all about... everyboy can tell the truth, but who dares to sacrifice ones own life in making the thruth universel.

The Constitution does not apply to the citizens of the United States...they are not a party to it because they have "SUBJECTED" themselves to the jurisdiction of the U.S. (See 14th Amendment). A U.S. citizen is a voluntary slave and is a SUBJECT. We went from being state Citizens to U.S. citizens, which only have civil rights (Granted Privileges). State Citizens have Constitutional Rights. Have you ever answered the following question: "Are you a U.S. citizen? Yes___No___Other______"

I always thought that making someone suffer, who wants to end their severe pain with the assistance of a doctor because their life is no longer precious but awful, is the most selfish thing to do. Put down the bible, stop listening to the reverend for a second and actually use your own brain to think it through. This guy is a hero! Wow 25% experience more pain before they get to die! I'd rather watch half a bad episode of "According to Jim" on morphine than a whole good episode sober.

The Supreme Court should have heard his case. Lawmakers should put the issue more boldly before the people, and then do the peoples' will. It is their job. We must progress as a society and a nation, and that process must not be made difficult. Least of all, by those we put in power to do just the opposite.

Those systems are in place to serve the political and monetary interests of a hand full of lobbyists and religious nuts, not the interests of the people.
The government has no right to interfere in the affairs of a doctor and his patients. Or let alone, prevent people from having the ultimate embodiment of human dignity.
Namely. The right of choosing to die when and how you will over a slow and painful death. I am deeply moved by the fact he chose his patients interests over some half ass law.
