I love the way she holds her own against Howard. She looks fragile but is tough. Ronan must have gotten it from her. And, after reading Ava Gardner's biography, she must have been tough to handle Frank.
Not long after they got together, Sinatra brought his huge motor yacht up to Connecticut to a marina that was at the mouth of the Connecticut River. It was known as Terra Mar marina. I saw both Sinatra and Ms. Farrow on board the yacht.

@@marksmith8732, I don't think it's unreasonably judgemental to wonder how people can make a life together work and really connect when they're generations apart. Especially when it's technically not inconceivable that he could literally be her grandfather, agewise (a very young one, but plenty of 15 year olds have had kids); that's the kind of age and life stage gap we're talking about. It *is* unusual. People frequently find it difficult to relate to people with far fewer years between them. She became an adult as the late 60s hippie era was burgeoning, whereas he was at the same life stage at the cusp of the second world war. It's especially not surprising to judge given the two specific generations involved.

I hope Ronan is Frank's son, and I think the Sinatra kids hoped that too.They loved Mia and she loved them. His wife Barbara Marx screwed the kids over terribly...gave a lot of stuff to her son too...Took almost everything. Mia wouldnt take a dime from him when they divorced. They were in love for a long time.

Mia is such a wonderful person, raising 11? children mostly adopted, takes a special person to that, I come from 10 kids, it aint easy. Soon Yi wasn't adopted until she was ten and she had a dad, Andre Previn (RIP). Allen never lived at her house, She hooked up with Allen her first year in college. the same age when Mia was going with Sinatra. People seem to forget that Sinatra was known to have strings of women and mafia connections. Mia jumped into marriage and Sinatra divorced her two years later. Soon Yi got a masters degree, didn't marry until age 27. Apparently they were good for each other in some way because they have been married almost 30 years. She doesn't think Allen was a creep so why should we?
