Yep deffo reverse polarity you are right Gary. Iv had this from people me self. Saying oh it arrived like this lol. I actually saw one bloke blow one up in a car in front of me and he said it must have been faulty b4 i plugged it in lol. We do get them dont we hahaha. Very informative video.
HI CAN YOU HELP,IVE GOT 4 OF THESE AND 3 OF THEM HAVE GONE FAULTY. THE TX POWER AS DROPPED TO NEXT TO NOTHING EXAMPLE THE AMP DRAW WAS 2 AMP LOW POWER 4 AMP MID POWER AND 6 AMP HIGH POWER. APPROX NOW ALL 3 POWER LEVELS ONLY DRAW 1 AMP SO CAM ONLY TALK TO PEOPLE UNDER HALF A MILE. STRANGE 3 RADIOS OUT OF 4 ARE SAME. CHEERS FOR ANY IDEAS Dave.
Hello, thank you for your video. On my Retevis RT95 only the loudspeaker of the hand microphone works ???device loudspeaker and headphone output do not work. Of course, the software/device settings were checked for LS or LS and manual. Do you know this error?

I know it's an old post. But buy any chance would you have a solution for the poor low audio quality. 2 mtr reports are always the same low audio. Cheers
Needing a PA replacement myself. Lift the clamping strip from the top of the PA to reveal the part number. It is a Motorola M9060M or as I've also seen MRF9060M. There's a couple on Ebay. Good luck.
Hello there, this is the second radio AT-778UV that I got, the first one lasted 2 weeks and after switch it on it display Please enter password, I returned and got a replacement, this one lasted 6 month and the same problem, is there any fix for that? the factory is not anwsering ma email and have no hope, can you suggest anything?

I have the same radio. No volume at all unless I press and hold the MON button.

It may be the speaker itself is there a signal at the speaker if you look with an oscilloscope or 4-8 ohm with an AVO?

It's a very cheap radio, I've found it to be a fun and very well behaved radio that performs very well.. after a year NO burnt PA :-))

ou can try making sure the radio is set for wide.. I have seen a lot of chinese radios work as they should on wide..

No fuse and no series diode for reverse polarity protection? Crazy
The tvs diode is the reverse polarity protection .. it goes short and often blows the inline fuse.. gaz

Factory has been on holiday, hope you have it fixed.. but do contact your suppliers directly they may be able to help
How much does the repair cost?
if you do it yourself $10 if you get an engineer to do it 50-100 ??
