- The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is one of the world's most enduring disputes, which involves disagreements about numerous Israeli settlements in the West Bank of Palestine.
Among them all, the city of Hebron has one peculiarity:
Hebron is the only city in Palestine where Jewish settlements are located right in the middle of the city itself.
During my Palestine trip, I saw the critical situation of the city with my own eyes, where a bunch of walls, barbed wire fences and checkpoints are disconnecting peoples’ lives in the city center.
In this video, I’m going to share what I experienced in the divided city of Hebron.

The name was picked as a punishment. And everyone who lived in Israel at the time was suddenly considered Palestinian. They were Jews. But then later the Romans destroyed It and destroyed their temple and massacred the people and took the rest as slaves back to Rome. You can still see the Arch of Titus in Rome that still has the depiction of the Jews being led in in chains while their treasure from their temple is being carried by the Romans. The The Romans used that treasure to help build the Colosseum along with the slave labor of the Jews. Afterwards the juice they found attractive they kept and the ones they thought they could get money for they sold into slavery. Israel isn't a new name it's a restored name that is even documented in ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs. The City of David has been uncovered in Israel all the ancient archeology is Jewish. Every country around Israel is Muslim, yet Israel is the only Jewish country on the whole planet. When they chant from the river to the sea, they are talking about genocide. Pushing the Jewish people into the sea. The israeli's have offered a two-state solution to the Palestinians many many times, but it's always turned down because the Palestinians don't want to live in peace with the Jews, they want all of Israel. And prefer the Jews to be dead.

As Malaysian, this is very true. It is really sad when many Chinese and Indians wgo living together in my own country have that mentality. It is getting worse too now that they're openly rude and being racist and supporting Israel. Many of my friends got few comments from Chinese who are in their friend list or followers of their social media openly supporting Israel and being Islamophobic in my friends' post about Palestine especially after what happened in Gaza. This is one thing I really disappointed about this country. I'm not saying all Malay are good and other races are bad. To me all races have good and bad people. I miss the time when we can live in harmony when all races respect each other no matter the religion. Israel accepted the decision and recognized the Arab states of Jordan, Syria and Lebanon within the defined borders. On that very same day, about a dozen Arab states invaded and attacked Israel and lost. Then in 1967 they wanted to invade again and LOST. The lands that Israel controls are disputed territories , won in a war of defense. There was never a Palestinians nation or state ever in history. Palestinians are Arabs like the Saudis, Jordanians etc . Same people , religion, language and very similar culture.------ according to International Law and the Fourth Geneva Convention resolutions (Article 49), the Arabs had no business attacking Israel and threatening to kill all its inhabitants or throw them our of their country. But they attacked and lost. Good riddance. ---- Israel will never go back to the 1967 borders that triggered the Six Day War. They are not suicidal, that ship has sailed in June '67 never to come back. There can be a two state solution . A negotiated solution but never an imposed solution by the Arabs or some foreigners at the UN. The end.

The Israelis call it a conflict. The Palestinians call it nakba which means catastrophe or disaster.

@@toassistindo Great question. Thanks for asking. The point is that the Palestinians don't see it as a simple conflict. It's much more. It's something that runs deep, is extremely painful, and they're enduring decades of oppression and psychological abuse. I'm still learning and trying to understand from all sides. Hope you are too. So I have used the word they taught to me and explained to me. I'm certainly no expert.

It’s also important to keep in mind that the war was initiated by the Arab side after rejecting the UN partition plan.
I prefer the word conflict personally because it is something that is solvable where as nakba? How would one go about solving that?
Fair enough. I think if I knew how to solve that I would make a lot of people happy. I'd like to see everyone live together equally and with respect and compassion. For me, this is more of a political issue than a people issue.
