Religious hatred is not a phenomenon. Racial and religious conflicts began with race and religion themselves. But this phenomenon has never been on a global scale before. It has intensified on a global scale since 9/11. just as the Pearl Harbour bombing by Japanese dragged the US administration in to the second World War, the events of 9/11 have propelled the Bush/Blair administrations into global religious conflicts. But one corner this turbulent world has resisted religious conflict and maintained relative religious harmony: the south west corner of India, Kerala
