The FOV tip was super helpful, hadn’t thought about that before. Great vid as always
Something useful I learned is that ctrl+shift+s makes the camera slowly rotate, pressing alt to go into cursor mode allows you to just spin in place targeting and attacking everything.
*Make sure you press Y and are using the circle reticle, not the cross reticle, it keeps targets locked on*

I'm using an old laptop which is relatively low power consumption in these expensive energy times.

Make sure you get an exp gain ent buff, and there's also an experience gain item you can get from the vreni island token of gratification vendor. And of course your new account comes with a level free level 90 boost with /claim if you haven't already used it. And I'd suggest using the cover fire or fan shot abilities since it's an AoE, but most people go with afk leveling as a BH since you can keep placing razor nets on the ground to tag any NPC that runs within melee range, but up to you. Good luck. I'd suggest a best buy credit card and get yourself a prebuilt gaming PC, and a monitor/keyboard/mouse for everything you do being enjoyed and ran better. Games especially being way more immersive and enjoyable, to where you'll never wanna get up. But that's just me lol
@@VTheLegendOfficial When I'm playing atk, I'm usually on my main PC which runs Galaxies with ease.
When afk I use my laptop which uses 25% of the electricity, which keeps my energy bills down especially these days.
Of course laptop for When I'm on the road.

@@jjsoko6393 You sound like you're 80 years old. This is not a politically correct polite environment you're entering. Electricity isn't shit, I haven't turned my gaming PC setup off for years. If you have an issue with someone harmlessly suggesting a way for you to enjoy the game more because they thought you only had a laptop, you're in for a big surprise in this game when people kill you, t-bag you, and constantly talk shit to you. You're better off making a trader and crafting and staying away from people in this game.

This reminds me of when I used to play the real SWG and I didn’t want to grind from level 70 something to level 90, so I went to Kashyyyk in the Shadow Lands I think it was for a big group AFK farm. IIRC the devs would spawn insanely OP Jedi to clear everyone out XD
Lol well this is the new real SWG, with new content and no rare loot system or atmospheric flight

@@francocavecchia8246 Rare loot system was just you possibly get rare loot chests from npcs with good items so you didn't have to work for them. But it'll never be implemented on legends so no need to worry about it

I know this is an older video and I'm not sure if they lowered the xp gain since you made this but I have been doing this for 2 days straight now and my 2 characters are only lol 20 and 25 respectively so I think it's going to take longer than 3 days. For reference the two characters are a Jedi and an Officer.
It depends on the size of the room you're in, with the amount of NPCs. There's a big room that has like 6-8 NPCs in there which makes it go a lot faster. Not to mention getting an experience gain ent buff, and when you first start the game with veteran rewards, you get another experience gain item. Can also still buy the experience gain item from the tokens of gratification vendor on vreni island, corellia if you have those. Plus making sure you have a macro using a single target ability, and an AoE, to tag all the npcs that come near your group. BH gets razor net at like level 50, I forget any other classes that might get an AoE ability earlier than that. Because you can always switch classes later to what you really want to play. But yea you should've been over level 20 by now. The problem is though the big room with the table in the middle is usually always taken and most people have to settle for a room with like 2-4 npcs.
Or, you could go down to the Rraytt and set your macros, put your character on rotate, and level to 90 overnight while you sleep.
While you get clapped immediately at level 5? The hide in the wall thing you could do there on live got fixed years back
@@VTheLegendOfficial it's the same concept as you stated above. There used to be a group running non stop down there. It wasn't the tree hack, but it was in the same place that people used to do that. You are in the middle, so everything is pulled. Normally a lvl 90 medic doing the pulling, running a group invite macro, cycle target out macro, with their toon set on rotate. You just joined and ran your assist macro. It worked better, because there are more npcs and the respawn rate is faster. People used it to lvl alts and pets.
Yes, you do need a higher level toon to get your lvl 5 toon down there. If you already have a 90 toon, just put your alt on follow and use you lvl 90 to clear any potential aggro on the way down. With that said, it would also be pretty much instant death for a lvl 5 to try to get into the Frosch Bunker too. Even if they made past the npc's at the fence opening, they will get aggro'd by the mob inside the fence just right of the bunker, and then you still have to get past the lvl 92 and lvl 90 npc's inside the bunker on the way down to that room. So, you still need someone to clear the path either way.
@@clintlewis1715 Frosch npcs don’t death blow, so just drive to the door, hop off, run down, get incapped in a hallway away from everything assuming there’s not a group right inside that’d take the aggro from you, wait out that incap, keep going, tbh frosch is how most of the entire server has leveled and it’s packed constantly so groups can be difficult to get into sometimes, but yea ryyatt trail seems solid too

Not sur if i'm wrong but making a char ent , lvling him like a ent, and then go see the Profession Counselor would be the fastest way to lvling no?
Nah same with trader, they're a different kind of class than combat, so you'd go back to level 5

@@fappa7158 sounds like you’re missing something in the typing of the macro, make sure it’s typed exactly as shown, spaces and semicolons matter
Would I be able to do this with a Trader? I'm looking for an easy, fast way to level up my new Shipwright character.
Traders get exp from crafting only, not combat. So go to the bazaar, vendor search, entire galaxy, misc, and look up "Trader kit", usually will be a backpack called structures trader grind kit, leveling kit, something like that. It's a backpack that has every resource needed to get from 5-90 as a structures trader, since structures is the fastest. Some even tell you exactly what to make with those resources. It's usually:
Make survey tools until CL 10.
Make Wind Power Generators from CL 10 - 18.
Make Crafting Stations from CL 18 - 42.
Make Fountains from CL 42 - 86.
Make Gungan Head Statues from CL 86 - 90
Then get an experience gain buff from an entertainer, and get to clicking. Takes about 3 hours usually nonstop to get to level 90.
@@VTheLegendOfficial I appreciate the detailed comment. I never played as a Trader on live so this is my first time trying it out. I do a lot of space gameplay on my main character and I'm getting to the point where having reverse engineered components is a must. Plus, being able to make my own ships with good stats is an added bonus. I'll have to get one of those kits later today and start grinding. Thanks!!

@@kronnin3226 They should, vendor search, in all or misc., structures kit, trader level kit, whichever. And it should tell you exactly what to make and how many. It's very click intensive. Can get to level 90 in like 3 or 4 hours if you don't waste time. Make sure you're looking in the right place ya know, go to the bazaar, vendor search option, entire galaxy option, type those kinds of things in the box, and search in the "all" and "misc" options and see what comes up, find out what planet it's on, download the waypoint, go there, buy it, get started.

been there a few times over the past month and no one is running invite macros. I was able to run down to the biggest room at level 36 on my Jedi " force run" and everyone in the groups was LVL 90 or just two or three people not inviting people.maybe just bad timing on my part or something lol

Firstly I would like to thank you for the video ,but I'm having issues with it and I wo dered if you could help . I've got the macro up and running but unless I put the cursor over the target it will not attack , thanks in advance
Sounds like you have the ability macro going. The
/ui action toolbarSlot00;
/pause 1;
/ui action toolbarSlot01;
/pause 1;
one that does the abilities for you when you put an ability in the first and second toolbar slot.
But if it only works with your cursor over it, that sounds like your target macro isn't working.
The one that automatically targets the NPC's in the room.
Make sure every single part of both of those macros are typed exactly as shown. Don't miss anything. Triple check with what you see in the video for both macros. Also make sure you press escape, options, graphics at the top, field of view about halfway down. Take it to max and keep it there during this so all the npc's are visible on your screen for the target macro to target them.
I hear there is a assist group leader macro but not familiar how to write it. So that way you don’t shoot the enemy first and die
Even if you shoot them first, multiple level 90s in the group should outdamage you immediately and take aggro
But you could do a macro for /assist and their name, I always found it easiest to do a cycle target outward macro myself and AoEs to make sure I hit any that my target macro misses such as Bounty hunter's razor net or commando's plasma mine
A good group will usually have their pet go pull npcs to the group and the rest attack it, and have a medic doing aoe heals as well just incase, and the pet provoking just incase to keep aggro

Sorry but this does not work. I have level 50 - join a group and dont get any XP.
Credits are shared but XP is not. If I attack someone I get killed instantly. How shall this work?? I dont get it.
1. Be in a group with others in one of the rooms
2. Type /follow on the group leader so you don’t dodge yourself away too far, and stand near them.
3. Make absolute sure the macros work
You and your group should be attacking everything at the same time and everything should be dead before you even have the chance to get hit much. There should be a level 90 or two or a pet in the group that should do more damage than you and take aggro from you instantly. You shouldn’t be getting hit for too long or at all. So sounds like you need to get into another group ran by more competent people. And all you have to do for the exp is just be in the group and hit each NPC a few times, which the macros should be doing for you if set up correctly. But I do know that it does work, as this is how 99.9% of the server levels to 90.

Can it be that some groups dont share xp and others do? Maybe it was a bug only

Man I'm also lost. My character keeps shouting afkmacro above his head the whole time lol. Also when I was attacking manually in the group my guy didn't seem to be gaining any exp. I'm very new to this as well.
Make sure you have both macros entered exactly as you see it in the video. The semi colons ; the new lines, etc. don't miss anything. The only deviation is the /m at the bottom means it loops the macro, and the name of the macro. So naming it afkmacro, and /m afkmacro; as the last line. So let's say..name it afkmacro, pick an icon for it.
/ui action toolbarSlot00; is the first ability
/pause 1; gives a 1 second pause in between
/ui action toolbarSlot01; is the second ability
/pause 1; another 1 second pause
/m afkmacro;
Then put a damaging ability on the first and second slots of your toolbar, type /m afkmacro in the chat and it'll run it, or put the actual macro icon on your toolbar to click it and run it.
Same with the target macro as you see in the video. Be in the group, put the leader on /follow so you don't dodge attacks afk and dodge yourself out of the room. Then targeting and attacking with your abilities afk along with the group you should get exp. You get exp from kills with your abilities being used, so it should work.

My character seems to die really quickly and xp received is like 75xp. Got the macro etc to work along with joining the group. I’m just curious if there was a update to stop this ?
Nah I mean no matter what the more you level the slower you'll level. Same with pet leveling too. It helps to get a bigger room that has more npcs. I set up a single target and an AoE so I made sure to hit every npc nearby
But you shouldn't be dying if you have an efficient group, you should never be taking the aggro, the group leader and usually their pet should be tanking it
A good group will have a few level 90s that will always take the aggro first

Yea I've done many videos but, ran out of topics. And stopped playing really because the game died. Since Bespin, all pvp is done at the arena and all people do is lay traps at the door and keep the other faction from even getting in. Restuss is dead and that's where the more fun pvp was.
@@VTheLegendOfficial I mean it gets around just under 1,000 people a day, I wouldn't call it dead-dead.

There's one outside theed, and some other ones but, those are more when people have their own group going. Never seen anyone inviting there. This is the most commonly used and reliable place.
Does this still work on SWG legends, every time I group with high levels I get not exp.

why is this not working on my jedi, i see no animations, no attacks no XP macros are working, i farm all the time on my main. i am in a group. but she is just not attacking anything.
I mean, a jedi, unless you have your DSJ maelstrom as your attack, and the npcs aren't going to come on top of you most of the time. So you need a ranged profession or the very least some kind of AoE ability to tag them all most of the time from afar. And a target macro to target them as soon as it's up and fire off attacks. What's it look like you're doing? Watch what happens when you attack the npc and see what the issue is. Such as, are abilities not firing off? Then maybe the macro is incorrect. Isolate what the core issue is. Also make sure you don't deviate any single part of the macros and your abilities are placed correctly and all. Even try re-dragging your abilities onto your toolbar. Doubly make sure the macro loops. Make sure everything is correct.
*The way it should work, is: NPC spawns, target macro targets the NPC, ability macro fires off the abilities, you're in combat now, you kill them, you get exp.*
@@VTheLegendOfficial yeah it worked fine when i was afk farming on my lvl 9 jedi testing it. But its just to slow, with only 3 abilitys. Swing throw and shock. So i just took my jedi to mos E. And afk lvled on the rills and beetles, went from 9 to 17 in 3 hours. Honestly i hate jedis. 😒 im probably just going to go melee spy or smuggler. Bet it levels up then. I afk the ryatt trial on my commando all the time. But my jedi is just to slow.best lvl a pew pew then swap back..but i rather just stay spy its like jedi with more bang anyways.
@@GarbageKnight Yea Jedi would be slow af, you need a profession with ranged AoE abilities, smuggler would be good with fan shot or cover fire for leveling. I’d make it whatever’s easiest and switch it to what you want at 90

I've followed the instructions to the letter and the macros work fine, but I don't seem to be getting any XP. Is there a way to track my XP besides the bar on my screen or am I doing something wrong?
You have to do damage to the NPC while in a group with the other people attacking it, so an AoE attack and a single target attack can be useful to make sure you don’t miss anything, at level 50 or so as a BH you get razor net so you can damage ones that run on top of you too

@@RepJunkieJr You have venomous ploy later, but you should be fine with a target macro and using ranged abilities on the NPCs. Keep in mind you can always change professions later when you’ve leveled if you wish. Make sure the target macro is working and is targeting the NPCs for you and your abilities are firing off and you’re in a group with the other people in the room. Watch your macros going to work for you and watch you attack something and see if you get exp when it dies, find the problem

@@photoslouis1755 As long as you tag the npcs you should be getting exp, which is why you also run the single target macro and an AoE macro to make sure. But, what level are the dantari? I don’t know if it matters on what level they are, but the frosch bunker guys are 91. I’d try to replicate what’s in the video at the frosch bunker in a group to see if you’re still not getting exp, if so then that’s a weird problem because people level every day at the frosch bunker

This is how everyone levels these days so, no you’ll be just fine. And the group has a few level 90 members and are there to help keep you alive, because these are level 91 npcs you’re afking on.

I found this place but a complete newb to macros is there anywhere I can go online that would explain how to do macro properly ?
Press escape, go to commands, go to the macro tab. Create new macro. You'll need them both, one to target, one to fire off your abilities. Enter those in exactly as shown in the video. You can pick whatever icon you'd like though. A semi colon ; ends each line in the macro. The /m at the last line goes with the name of the macro. So if you name the macro "target" then you'd want to put your last line as /m target; which makes the macro a continuous loop. Then the pauses in between. So essentially..you just have to enter them in exactly as shown and it should all work. Make sure you also put two abilities on the first two toolbar slots so the /ui action toolbarSlot00; and /ui action toolbarSlot01; macro has the abilities to use.

@@SlowMoePlays Make sure the two macros are exactly as you see. Named the same, everything the same. Including the capitalization, the spacing, the semi colons ; etc. And the ability macro, the

put an ability on the first and second toolbar slots such as if you're a level 5 commando, you need that beginner rifle you get, equipped, use focused fire and the grenade, since focused fire and grenades can only be used with a rifle equipped.

The afk level 90s are the ones running the groups for the lower levels to join, this is the most popular spot since the start for afk leveling, probably how about 3/4ths of the entire server got to 90

@@akoww1000 yea just gotta try another day fam and make sure you message absolutely everyone in there, they may not be advertising in chat but may still have an invite macro going, also don’t forget if you’re really new to the server there’s a holocron of galaxies from /claim to get your first character to 90

@@picksleet9268 I just leveled a character to 90 the other day doing this, it’s easy. But you can level manually if you want, you get your first quest called a speeder for me when you load into eisley at level 5
It's gonna take more than 3 days but it's ok
Maybe 2 and a half actually. Making sure you target all npcs in the room with a macro then a macro to do aoe and single target attacks, you'll get every one and level easily. How fast it goes does depend on the size of the room and how many npcs spawn in it. Try to get in the biggest room. But I've never seen it take longer than 3 days.
@@VTheLegendOfficial I have question, Can you quit the game, that is, close it and have your character continue in the room farming?
@@xuanki1 You can do it afk with macros running and minimize it and do other stuff. But if you do mean completely close it out, your character disappears in game after a few seconds if you log out. You can log in 3 times and have 3 different characters/clients running at the same time if you wanted to play another while that one does stuff in the other client.
Macros will keep you from being logged out, you won't afk time out unless you crash or something so it can keep going afk 24/7
If you ever see a character with (LD) over their name that means they logged out and are still in game for like a minute then they disappear. Which sucks because you can still get killed during that lol
