- I found my refuge in an unlikely place. I found it deep in the Canadian backcountry on a solo canoe camping adventure. I found it, because I was alone.

Beautiful Story and storytelling thanks for sharing your solo journey! There's nothing like it. I just got done cycling around Lake Superior and went through the same things. Im always down for a canoe trip! Im based out of Minnesota so close to where you were here!

@@Karamintheworldit truly was a spectacular trip. My biggest solo journey, but also much less remote than canoeing. Anyhow I documented the whole thing and interviewed people from and around the lake while raising money for conservation! It was the coolest thing to set as a goal and actually fully see it through!
Yes, exactly the BWCA shared between Canada and Minnesota, and it’s truly magical as well. I highly recommend a Great Lake visit.
