- Inazuma was the third nation we visited in Genshin, and it brought us one of the shorter stories we got in the game. In this video, I talk about ideas for Main Quests that could happen here after Snezhnaya involving Raiden Ei, the Harbingers, and more.

Notice how the Electro Dragon sovereign's identity is unknown? I want to believe it's in the Yokia realm, so we have reasons to look forward to going there 😂😅
A Sovereign being a 4star character? Commercially speaking…
You forgot to mention Scaramouche, now called Wanderer. After Sumeru Archon quest, Ei doesn't remember him. I think there will be a story arc of Ei remembering making him somehow and both reconciling.
Technically just the knowledge of who Wanderer is should be gone. The action of Ei creating a prototype puppet and leaving it with the feather should still be in her mind. Just not "Kunikuzushi" in particular.
The only thing I can think about is that if we go to the dark sea, we'll see ruins of ancient civilizations. Because since the gods that lost in the archon war fleed in the dark sea, their followers may have followed them and created civilizations there. There might also be people currently living there as descendants of these civilisations and they could have united upon one same God over the centuries making one big civilisation who might help us in defeating Celestia. As they could have progressed with their technology without any constraints, they might have a way to protect Inazuma and the rest of teyvat during the war against the heavenly principles. That's js my theory tho
I'm thinking the dark sea area could start in the ocean part directly south of liyue and west of inazuma(most specfically tsurumi). As for the electro sovereign I'm thinking the time paradox around tsurumi could have the electro sovereign lost in a different time period. It's possible they'd be interaction between zhongli and Ei about the dark sea, since zhongli would know the most about the entities that have fled there, also xiao would likely be involved given he was under the control of an entity that could be there. The entity that corrupted and dissolved kitsune saaigu would likely get yae miko involved and could be in the dark sea area as well.
@8:30 Another line of thought.. Bring the Fontaine Under water Mechanics to the area. While adding another Island to the area might be hard, There is plenty of area around the Islands and between them that could be expanded upon. Devloping those mechanics was somewhat brilliant as it made the seas no longer an "impossible to expand into" area.
Beidou being the sovereign is a fresh and interesting take no matter how outlandish it may seem.
Someone mentioned that in the cleansing sakura quest , it was stated that the thunder sakura, which are branches of the sacred sakura , hold "it" underneath inazuma . While " it " here might be referring to the dark will that shallowed Saiguu whole , it might be a beast outside of teyvat like the All Devouring Narwhal, or an abysal beast like durin from the cataclysm, or possibly, the Electro Dragon Souverign. And we could further explore this in the future when Dainslef gives us an Archon Quest in Inazuma, the last Archon Quest with him was in Liyue , and Liyue had 3 separate Archon Quests already, so we might see the same come true for other nations.
The Beidou idea does make me think of how cool it would be if a 4 star received a 5 star variation like Dan Heng in HSR. With that said, I don’t think Beidou would be the right person to give that privilege to, especially with regard to sovereignhood. Genshin has been deliberate in highlighting which characters will have importance in the endgame (e.g. Kaeya being of Khaenri’an descent, Albedo’s connections with Gold), and Beidou, in all her past appearances, has done nothing to imply there’s more to her than meets the eye.
Beidou is definitely not the electros suffer since if she was, she wouldn’t need a vision to have the power of electro neuvillette doesn’t need a vision to have the power of Hydro so her being the electros sovereign doesn’t make any sense especially since she’s not immortal like him

Fischl's Oz is the Electro Sovereign.
I was listening with audio only and got startled when i heard “the electro sovereign might be beidou”. I think for her to be a sovereign, the currently electro sovereign has to be SEVERELY weakened. Take neuvi for example, was able to deal with tartaglia (11th harbringer) with ease even before regaining hydro authority back and i think even beidou would have difficulty against childe.
Then again, i guess we cant say for sure how powerful haishan truly was. Have to say this was a really cracked theory, probably wont be true but its always fun to speculate
I would be all for Beidou being the electro sovereign theory except for the fact that it was repeatedly expressed in the story that physical features (namely and specifically the eyes) are what suggests their draconic origin. Beidou has normal eyes :(
The other reason for me ( from my opinion) is the traces of twin sibling ( may be in dark sea) . Nahida clearly told us that the other sibling travel across 7 nations but still today we didn't find any traces in Inazuma. There's still a hole in this situation. We may not find anything in the the land but there's a chance that they may go to dark sea along with Dain . We know that Gold)(Rhinnedottir) is 'not from Teyvat' , she may know the existence of Dark Sea . They may be secretly deceived to go there in search of something for Gold .
Setting aside the argument of if a sovereign could obtain a vision, we already know thanks to Neuvillette that they don't need visions. Neuvillette without his full authority was stronger then most vision holders and had unparalleled control of water. Also has an outlander from outside teyvat obtained a vision in genshin?
As for Azhdaha and potentially being the geo sovereign and despite many people theorising he is, I personally think it's pretty unlikely. In Zhongli's second character story which introduced Azhdaha it stated that not only did the god give him eyes, Zhongli also sculpted Azhdaha into the form of a dragon meaning he didn't originally look like he does now. Lastly since Zhongli actively avoided Neuvillette because he was one of the sovereigns it seems unlikely he would get close to the geo sovereign, the one who his stolen authority comes from.
I feel like Ei giving up rulership to someone she doesn't know and may not care about humans would really ruin the story of her stepping up and ruling her people properly. Also the traveler will NEVER trust dottore, much more likely to simply cut him down than even work anywhere near him or his people
Man, I REALLY love the idea of Beidou being the electro sovereign! Perhaps that'll leave to our first 5star version of a character..!? I mean, the chances are pretty low. I feel like it'd be another "KOKOMI'S THE HYDRO DRAGON" situation! who knows!
That dialogue between ei and yae miko in the 4.6 iridescence tour event was so exciting, I really hope we get another chance to see ei in action
I highly doubt Beido is the Electro Sovereign, if we ever meet the Electro Sovereign, it would probably be a newly introduced character.
I know hoyoverse have done different versions of the same person as different playable characters for HI3 nad HSR , but I doubt it they would ever do it for Genshin. Considering we don't have Scaramouche and Wanderer, or even Signora (Seriously, she even had a unique catalyst model, what is Hoyo thinking, would've sold like hot bread.)
That is IF the Electro Sovereign even has a 3D character model and is not like Apep/Azhdaha.
Anyway, Inazuma DESPERATELY needs something, it's been dry since Itto's Drumalong Festival/The Scary Forest event (forgot which one was last).
I hope we go back to Delphi/Enka.
Eh... Idk about the whole Beidou thing. Given the marketing potential they'd 100% make all the dragons 5 Stars. As great as genshin's in-game lore is and how fun it is to connect things, the business of things should always be considered in such a heavily monetized game
They could make a new model thats a 5* star for sovereign beidou and make the 4 * star unavailable after that. Like the event exclusive weapons, 4* beidou was only available before the introduction of sovereign beidou.
The game would be close to completion when they take 4* beidou out of the character banners so most people would already have her anyways
It comes from her CN title which is dragon lord of the sea and her constellation or something like that. The problem is the Sea and lightning are different natures and we know who the sovereign of water is already.
I seriously hope they expand on Enkonomia.

My Theory is Ei herself is the Electro Sovereign.
Reasons being:
1. When we are introduced to Inazuma we hear the line Rain,Thunder,Light are the primordial parts of life as we as the Raiden Shogun.
2. In her Trailer Ei says you're witness the Purest and Noblest from of Lightning in all over teyvat. Which we later learn that only Sovereigns have the control over the purest form of their respective elements.
3. According to treasured tales of Chouken Shinkageuchi Ei had to Sacrifice her body in Order to let Makoto become the Archon. Why tho? Even if Ei was stronger than Makoto that doesn't mean that she had to die inorder to let Makoto become archon. Rukkhadevata became Archon while king Deshret was still alive. So why Ei had to sacrifice herself? And How was her Divine will still there so that Later on Makoto was able to reshape her body and recall her will into it? We don't see Ei able to do the same for Makoto.
4. Ei never had the Gnosis. Makoto had the gnosis when she was alive. After Makoto died we see Ei trying to create a vessel to hold the gnosis but why not her? We know she wanted to punish herself in the plane of Euthymia but She could keep the gnosis. And later on She made a Puppet so strong that wouldn't even need the gnosis and gave it to Yae Miko. Even though never using the gnosis Ei was one of the strongest beings with incredible feats. And protected inazuma for thousands of Years.
5. Ei never had any identity. Even when she was alive she worked as a shadow for Makoto. She never had the urge to rule over mortal world and only worked as a general who would protect Inazuma from calamities.
6. She has little understanding of human mind and heart just like Neuvillete. Whike the other archons tend to Understand human pretty well.
7. She can change the weather according to her mood and controls Rain and Storm all over Teyvat just like Neuvilette.
8. She has an inner world/plane just like Apep.
And there are also some small points like Ei and Makoto havinf connection with Istaroth, why there's a Istaroth Statue in Inazuma, Why Ei's attacks and Skills have the Space/Time effects also could be abyss effects. Why does her constellation say Shadow Empress? Why is there a Red moon in her plane of Euthymia? How does Makoto Turn into the Sacred Sakura tree that has the power to protect entire inazuma, why istaroth manipulated time for Ei and Makoto?

Hoyo should hire you to write their story for genshin. This theory is amazing, especially the Beidou one

You could be on to something with Beidou transporting them into the dark sea- in Port Ormos they do mention sea monster activity, which would likely be the area of sea between Inazuma and Sumeru. Perhaps Beidou would be enlisted to help us, or she would want to fight a sea monster herself, considering her history with them!
Another possibility is topic of ascension during Inazuma help time. Maybe even witness an alligene ascend like Kokomi or Kazuha or Miko.
I think they'd need to give Beido a 5 star variation.

Does Ei even have the authority? She never had the gnosis nor was she actually selected by Celestia. Ei's role has always been curious to me

As much as I'd find crazy how beidou could be related to the Sovereign somehow, I think her being the Reborn dragon is a bit of a stretch, if she was *that* much special, they wouldn't make her a 4 star tbh 😢

Ive seen some theories about Ei/makoto possibility being the electro sovereign due to not knowing much about them.
And i just wanna know your thoughts on that?
(For me i think its kinda a stretch due to them being Archons and the gnosis, but maybe they don't remember thier past? Idk. Still wanna know your thoughts about this theory though :o)
It's definitely possible, though I don't know how likely it would be. It would fit their theme of eternity though, always holding the power of the Electro Sovereign no matter the form they take.

T h i don't think ei even needs to give her authority to sovereign becoz she not pitiful weak as furina or who ever that brat is and neither does zhongli there two archons can and will take on any dragon sovereign at any time of the year so yeah ei dosent need a dragon sovereign to protect Inazuma I think this is the reason devs made it clear by nit introducing any type of dragons who r alive in Inazuma they wanted to say yeah raiden is the best.

According to her "you are in the presence of the most supreme and terrifying incarnation of lightning in the whole of Teyvat." Isn't that supposed to be the electro dragon ??
My theory is that when the electro dragon dies it creates a huge storm covering teyavat but in the process it creates god (Like the thunderbird is to thunder manifestation)
Next is the electro symbol
The electro symbol or electro mitsudomoe has 3 blades which represent Birth ,death and rebirth (japanese culture I think) so if the electro dragon also represents the idea of eternity it's safe to assume that it's the eletro dragon ways to pursue eternity ("the era of the dragon is over so he took the form of a god" kind of scenario)
Ei and nuevillte can change the weather depending on their emotion
Ei and apep has some kind of inner world in them
