I was shocked about what I learned on this walk against violence 🇹🇹

I went in a Peace walk against Gang violence in Port of spain Trinidad. We walked through the gang terretorys, and I first learned about gangviolence in Trinidad. What I learned shocked me deeply.

Dont blame the Venezuelans. Blame the parents who are not sacrificing themselves to be the parents they should be, and make these children take advantage of the free educatuon system that is provided to them. Venezuelans were always there. It is just that they only came in by a few hundred yearly.

Please take note and do some research about the education system in Trinidad. Trinidad has free education from ABC right through to the end of university. You can learn a skill in many areas. There are many colleges and trade schools to provide these skills. All of this is provided by grants from the government and the free education system. I live in Canada. I cannot go to university for free. If you do not educate yourself, how can you get a good job? I wish people would stop blaming the government if these young people don't want to take advantage of their education. They ignore their parents and do what they think is best for themselves. This is the end result.

​@@reeneljoseph Victim mentality as usual and people would eat it up. If Venezuelans who cannot speak the language, who are negatively stereotyped and who very much include a diverse group of people including Afro-Venes can get work, then Trinis can get work.
If they cannot get work its probably because they wasted a FREE education and carry around themselves in ways which sends red flags to employers.
