- On day 44, I left camp at 4am and hiked 10 miles before 7:45am in order to catch the 8am shuttle into Marion, VA. Also totally worth it!

Good hike today! 😊 Early riser , Less weight to carry, town food, 18 miles hiked and still smiling! Molly you are doing great. Hike on! 👏🏕️🥾🥾👍
It amazes me how excited all of the hikers get when the shed a few pounds but when I see on the map how far you have walked I realize I would probably popping buttons of to make the load lighter stay safe!
Good luck 🍀. I hope you like being cold 🥶
I can't believe that was ONLY 3.5 lbs! It sounded like so much stuff. I hope it feels a lot lighter!
That is so early it is almost just late the day before!
Woohoo 3.5 pounds shaved. Great job Molly!!
awsome videos!
Loving your videos each morning. Thanks for taking us along on your journey. Stay safe and stay well.
Make sure to go to 2 Sisters restaurant for breakfast in Marion
In the summer, it still gets cold in the Vermont mountains. I experienced high 40s in July. Thanks for the update. Cheers to your progress. Wishing you safe passage and good fortune. Happy Trails!
You are the only hiker that I have been watching this year that is truly loving being on trail. You really do make it look so easy!
Same here
Molly Rose definitely makes it look easy but I have also been watching Ben and his sister Alice from Ben on the trail and even when it’s not easy they are so joyful and fun their videos always leave a smile on my face. Just in case you were looking for other happy hikers to watch. 😊
Momma bear and little bear! 2 happy hikers also.
@@suehancock5573 Yep! 😊

Clicking off the miles, thanks for sharing your hike.
Majestic View of Rye Valley! 👀 😁 🏵🧡
Thanks. ✌🏻👊🏼
5:13 Whatta View! Burning Blue Sky, God new what he was doing when he made it that color for us to enjoy!
Awesome! Enjoy your joy! Keep trekking!
Wow, so dedicated to get up at 4 AM! It's good to send your winter gear home to lighten your load. You'll end having less to carry. (I hope you don't end up regretting sending the rain pants off, though.)
I know it was a long day but well worth the effort. You got some town food and lightened your pack by 3&1/2 lbs. Now you can load up on snickers, lol! Be safe!
Rain pants I would have held on to they come in handy specially on overgrown trail but good on ya !
Enjoying your journey! Rock on! 🥾⛰
Awesome day!
Awesome day!! You got this!
I want to do trail magic, what’s the best things to have for hikers like you? My wife and I and some friends are setting up in NY and Mass and need some suggestions…. Thank you!
For the next weight saving fest send home your tent and get a lighter one. Also the bears are snappy in the early morning hours so take care, it's a good idea to have your friend clear the path for you. Everything seems so effortless on this channel, there are plenty others where it is a struggle for every mile and the people have not been happy for weeks by now.
I would definitely love to get a lighter tent. Sadly, it’s not in the budget at the moment. Oh no 😥 That makes me sad. I’m absolutely loving my time out here!
So 3. 1/2 lbs of gear should be equal out to about an extra 3 miles a day lol 😅🤪 nice 👌 im kidding of course but im sure thats a massive difference tho.
