Could you put a few things in pots in that old greenhouse, you'd have a better chance of them growing with a bit of daily warmth!

Good to see you looking so positive, and having somewhere to base yourself again, is a real plus for you. You'll have to fence off either the chickens, or your garden ( Whichever is cheapest), and do add some FLOWERs to the mix, please. Stay positive.
They might be doing root growth and once they feel secure, you should see happy plants.
Flowers are beautiful and flowers are great for bees (pollination) and for the natural wildlife! You are a machine Joe! You never stop 😅 well done 💪 my friends think I have a serious addiction problem; allotment 😂 I love spending hours on my two plots. What a dream it would be to live off the grid 😊 take care and keep up with the vitamin C and drink plenty of water.

Hi Jo just like you I'm battling with creatures that eat my produce. I have stuff covered, caged and fleeced but with the constant rain I just can't keep the slugs at bay. I've planted out my last remaining reserves so if they get those thats it for this season. You're doing really well with that workshop. Flower

I’m the same joe lost all my tomatoes,lettuce,cucumbers,they just wilted and died,so have to start again lol

Garden looking good, great progress. Apparently nasturtium leaves help with a sore throat, maybe try chewing a few? Also, when I was young, (a long time ago 😅) I was prone to tonsolitis, pineapple or lemon also helped. Get better soon 🎉

Cover your crops, pheasants and chickens will decimate them. I am on the Scottish border and I found it too cold outside for tomatoes. They look fed up and cold 🥶 Build a plastic cloche over them. So you're offgrid but where do you live now? Enjoying your journey, keep well and keep motivated 💪 👍

Flower! I'm in the South. Had a horrendously wet late winter and spring and the last three days has felt like October temperature wise. Playing havoc with veg plant growth! Seems to be affecting people nationwide this year!
I'm right down with on the south coast near Brighton and it's felt autumnal the last few days.
I had my shorts and t shirt on this morning at home and then later near midday I put my dressing gown on over the top as it was so cold!
Really hoping we have some warm weather (and sunshine!) to uplift spirits for everyone and the plants and veggies!

Growing has been a disaster here as well joe, like with you it just has not stopped raining, and cold with it, my poor garden is like a bog. I'm in the south east of Ireland, sunny south east they call it (that's a laugh) . Your doing great , look forward to seeing your projects coming together flower 😂 ❤
