You could always run him as a caprina instead of primaris caprina, so that he gains access to combiplasmas, and gets to keep his plasma pistol. Unless you're planning on making him ride on repulsors or impulsors, in which case you wouldn't be able to do it :/
@@edoardoluppi6455 I think when it comes to home games, where we can fudge the rules, I'm just gonna run him as a regular Primaris captain with Hellblaster wargear. Hell, my local hobby store will probably be fine with that too.
I don't intend to enter him in any tournaments or anything. I bought him to admire myself, not show off to the Imperium's enemies.

What's the back story to your chapter? With that much plasma I'm assuming there's a distance connection to the Dark Angels somewhere?
@@Fuzzlet Not really. Their Chapter Homeworld just happens to be in same same system as a Forge World, and so they get immediate access to shiny new plasma weapons fresh from the manufactorum. Plasma makes for great siege equipment.
This makes me want to finalize the fluff for my homebrew marines, good stuff man.

I love the idea of a particular squad type being a chapter's signature and mandatory vocation.
I like the guitar intro but it always makes me think I'm about to listen to an American whiskey advert
I have a homebrew chapter it's called the peacekeepers they're basically loyalist word bearers the color is the same as the word bearers except for the eyes witch are a icey blue they are normally covered with bells and scrolls

I love seeing homebrew stuff. For me, it's the best part of the hobby. Working on my own custom chapter has invigorated my love for this hobby and has been incredibly satisfying to flesh out.
This is such a great idea. I love seeing custom characters and the thought process behind making them. It gives me good inspiration for my caveman-themed Space Marine army, the Savage Tusks.

Man I really love watching these vids. Really helped me want to make my own chapter as a new player. I’m havin trouble trying to get the parts to kitbash my ideal look but getting there and having these different types of techniques always help for experience in the future

Inventing your own unique custom armies / warbands / teams is the main advantage of the Warhammer! Only 40k, Age of Sigmar and Blood Bowl could give me such pleasure.

Well, this loadout is not legal in Warhammer 40k 9th, but you can use him in the Prime Brother army from Grimdark Future game.

Conversion idea: Primaris Azrael?
my home brew space marine where like the golden jedi of the empire and there first and only quest _ purge the storm of chaos at its core in the warp storm. but such a quest is not a easy one. so my gold and white spacemarines stared small but grew to 3 tanks 1 landraider 5 bikers and like 30 infintry plus command characters. all need psy phase but are not considerd lost sons. but before i lost all my stuff id home brew my rules and weapons cards to try my own home brew campaigns as any chapter of marines beging with a imperil guard planet being devoured by both tyrinid swarp and all the undead chaos at the same time.
but thats was all years ago.
i miss the hobby
personnaly, i'm tempted to do a chapter similar to the black templar but with psyker.
i love their knight and deus vult side.

very nice conversion as always. I think the basing (ice?) is too bright; it pulls focus from the other colors. Otherwise very stylish, can't beat the rule of cool!!

I think it comes from the Hellblaster kit, it is one of the options for the Sergeant

Would you be interested in creating a chapter that goes well with the death korps of krieg, in appearance and tactics, thought a loyalist successor of the iron hands would work well tactics and stubbornness wise

Sadly there are no options to take this load out in game, you would need it to count as something else unless you had an opponent who was happy with some house rules.

About the part with something being illegal in the actual game, I am more or less new and I equipped one of my Space Marine Assault Intercessors with two chainswords with a bit of modding and the sergeant with both the plasma and the bolt pistol because I thought it looks cool, is anyone going to be actually satly about this if I were to ever play a game?
It really depends. So long as you keep to the rules in terms of the gameplay and inform your opponent of his equipment you should be okay. Some players and tournament settings are a little more strict and require you to arm your miniature with the same equipment that they physically have.

how not to home brew a spacemarine! - a plassma rifile you cant use becuse hes not holding it by the handle and cant aim becuse hes useing the wrong stupid arms.
and youd have to chop away the entire arm from that gun just to make it valid and repose the entire model!
the bits you got have to variations to what your suposed to do vs what you can do..
and a chapter master with no meele weapon is dumb!
you have to make a choice and can not just pile bits until its ridiculous.
This is why primaris models are lame. You get a boltgun, a bolt pistol, maybe a plasma pistol or power sword, but that's all. No shenanigans. Firstborn captains could run two relic blades. It sucks, honestly. Wish this wasn't illegal.
