You should do an imperial guard kill team next. I love your conversions .
Mix in some gene stealer cultists and I'm right there with ya!
Imperial guard always!!
Please do this
Yeah, great idea! General Schaefer's Last Chancers would be a fitting lore background for such a project.
"I'm Pete the Wargamer and in this video, we will be kitbashing PLASMA GUNNERS!"
One day, you should do a Battle Report with these guys! They look so good.
I'd actually have to learn some rules 😮
@@PeteTheWargamer OnePageRules makes some cool and simple rules for grim dark games; Grimdark Future: Firefight is an easy to learn and play alternative to GW's Kill Team. :)
That battle-damage looks great.
Thanks!
It really does, superb job 👍
Could you do an ork conversion video - perhaps 5 ways to convert each of the clan kulturs?
Oh, nice idea, each of them can be quite different ^^
There is definitely ALOT of conversion potential in those and I do need to get more Ork content on here.
Thank you for the aquila part, it's been my bane and you explained it so easy.
You're welcome! That Aquila just takes up far too much space that could be used for useful things. Like more pouches 😂
@@PeteTheWargamer The plain breastplate does so much to sell these guys as being professional soldiers. I'm tempted to do the same conversion to my untouched Indomitus Marines.
this would be a good series actually, making a unique kill team our of each faction available
absolutely love your conversions and they give me alot of inspiration for my own stuff. keep te videos coming man!
It would take a while to get them all done but I do hope to continue this series into other factions in the future :D
Imagine a converted Sisters Kill Team, or an Admech Kill Team.
Would be really cool to see more less used faction for kill team, like orks or tau
There are actually two kits with left handed bolt pistols: there’s the hellblaster one you used in the video but also one in the monopose infiltrator kit.
These models are looking more and more brilliant with every video.
Thank you, it's nice to be building more than one single model for once 😂
That medic conversion from the communications arm is fantastic and really well integrated into the feel of the unit being given semi standard marks or patterns of equipment. I loved the red goggles and pose.
The battle damaged armour was really nice. Tells a story without needing to say too much. A fine zealot.
A.
I would like to see a homebrew Necromunda gang conversion. It could be very interesting.
I think you could have fun making an homage to the A-Team and various 80's action heroes with an Imperial Guard Kill Team.
Or a tribute to the squad from Predator, using Catachans.
Broforce Imperial Guard team here we go
@@thespaniard1810 I did that
I’m just curious, when was the last time you built a whole mini by as per the instructions?
You can do that?
Where's the fun in that? That's the double-decker couch of miniature modelling.
Haha, to be fair I use the instructions to check I'm matching up the right torso/leg combos but after that... I go rogue.
@@HeadHunterSix hey, the double decker couch is amazing!!! XD
@@AnikaJarlsdottr You mean, "awesome"? ;)
Bloody love it mate. I’m currently building kill teams with my 9.5 year old son. I finally beat him in a 125 point ambush game the other day. We’ve got Marines, Death Guard, Necrons, Tau, Eldar, Custodes and Sisters. So we can play it with his friends and they can choose what they want to play.
For a different medical case, I love using the tau fire warrior (at least I think it’s those) backpack, cutting of the side things, and it looks very nice too.
These are so great!
Would love to see you do a guy with some cybernetic limb replacements for an arm and leg or something, so he really stands out.
Maybe on the veteran?
@@____________838 Demolitions. Sometimes you just prematurely... Uhhh... Detonate.
@@jaanikaapa6925 That happens to amateurs...
@@____________838 Training. :)
@@jaanikaapa6925 there you go
Loving this kill team, especially the raptors colour scheme
Yes.
Thank you, it's definitely my favorite marine paint scheme at the moment.
There's something rather fitting about making a zealot that took a couple hits and kept going, alongside the group medic
Can’t wait to see how you paint this amazing green.
Did you decide to a Raptop paint guide? I'd love to see it! Especially how you do eyes!
Yep, there will be one coming soon!
Really love the kill teams conversation looking forward to seeing more and mabye from different factions
man thats to awesome. Thats how space marines should look like
Man, if you did paint tutorials I’d binge those too.
Maybe do something for the guard next? Love the way these turn out!
Thanks!
Since you've been doing Raptors recently, what about doing a primaris conversion of their chapter master Lias Issodon?
This series has been extremely inspirational to me! Being relatively new to the hobby (been in it for a year or so) I’ve always just kind of stuck to the instructions in the kits...you’ve given me the courage to start hacking stuff a part and mixing different kits and all that jazz!
Great to hear! I just started out with simple head and arms swaps and I just grew my confidence from there :D
I like how the armor repairs on the Zealot "match up" between the shoulder and chest...quite the blast, but not enough to stop one of the Emperor's devout.
I know you’re going for a tacticool look which influenced your choices for the zealot. But the idea of having a god emperor fearing zealot laden with trinkets and other religious looking items would be a cool exception to the rule! These squads always have an odd one out after all 😂
Isn’t the head for the medic from the Eliminators set, not eradicators?
This killteam has so much flavor
I would personally like to see studded pauldrons on the demolitions expert, like with heresy pattern armour. Can help give him a more rugged look, and personally I think it might be a nice touch.
I made a small kill team of your raptors but after trying to paint them they ended up looking like dark angels so I've now painted them as dark angels. NOW YOU TELL ME YOURE GONNA RELEASE A PAINTING GUIDE! (Guess I'll need to check eBay lol)
What timing! I just finished my first kill team about an hour ago. I was inspired to make one after your original Kill Team video from last month.
Awesome, I'm glad to hear that you went out and built your own KT!
Very clean work, definitely inspires. Bashing is one of the most rewarding aspects of this addiction!
OH THANK GOD!
Call off the search parties, he's here!
Whers the _hell_ have you been, we've been worried _sick!_
I suggested this on Discord and I'll do so again here: Lucius the Eternal using Twinsouls bits!
I love these Raptors kitbash videos.
Mate, you're a wizard! This kill team is my favourite custom group of marines on the Internet. Absolutely brilliant conversions and a stunning paint job to go with it.
I enjoy figure conversions and kit-bashing; great video!
Perfection, nicely done :D
Well in the previous video of this kill team, I suggested doing an Ork kill team... But now, after all of those kitbashes, im just eager to see the next one, whatever project will be, doesn't matter, cause it's gonna be awesome!!!!!!!
Damn, that zealot looks amazing. Nice job.
They look great. Can't wait for the painting video :-)
One of my favourite conversion series. Great job!
Loving this series.
Looking very nice as always. :)
love this! - such great videos!
Awesome! Love it!🤩
These are awesome, I love the kitbashes and am very much looking forward to your painting tutorial on them!
Pure class, love it 🙂
god man, assault intercessors look so good
Absolutely love this kill team series, has been a real inspiration as I churn out kill team squads!
Breathtaking armor damage there. Love the paint job. Really pulls the kitbash together.
Loving this kill team series.
Love seeing the progress of this kill team. Can't wait for the heavy weapon primaris scale scouts! The paint guide video will be especially interesting - i love how your transfers look (if they are transfers) am especially keen to see how exactly you achieve the sort of weathered/faded yellow look
Man, your stuff is great!
Thank you so much!, hearing a painting video I can now get a list for my raptor chapter! And this mini series excuse the pun has given me ideas for my own kill team. Keep up the good work!
Looks great!
You should do a bladeguard veteran as your veteran specialist! Also would be super interesting to see a bladeguard done in a more tacticool style
Finally somebody does the raptors
I am loving your Kill Team videos so far. What I want to see is you work on any kill team stuff that inspires you as what you currently done is so good. One that might be worth doing is the adeptus custodes as they are such a small model count faction you would really need to work your magic with them to make them shine.
Sweet more Kill Team conversions, thanks Pete
Awesome, love the look of these
Thank you! Cheers!
You do amazing work
These are beautiful!
Thank you! 😊
you can find cheap balls for studs in water jug filters
they have a mix of diff sizes as well
You did some great work sir. I really like the battle damaged model.
Your videos made me buy a hobby saw, and aparently I got the exact same model with the orange handle. Been using it for two and a half days and I already know that it was a great purchase. Thanks Pete!
I love this kind of video expanding a roster for a kill team or small squad keep it up your doing the emperor’s work
Looking great. Hope to see them on the Kill Team table one day :)
It would have been hilarious if you gave the zealot a robot hand like the shot that damaged his chest took his hand or the plasma did. Having said that, this kitbash and killtema are phenomenal! And I will definitely be copying some of these in still to make a black ops themed squad of deathwatch blackshields
I absolutely love your kill team vids been watching for a few years and this is probably my favorite serious so far, would absolutely adore similar kill team content, particularly in would die if you did some for Alpha Legion
I cannot praise this kill team enough, excellent execution at every step 👏💀😃
Edit: will you make a painting tutorial for your Raptors?
Yep, there will be one coming soon!
love the paint scheme, man
Loving this serious
I'd love to see a custom suppressor for your raptors
These models look amazing!!! I recently got back into the hobbie after a short 15 or so years break lol. Good inspiration!!
Love your conversions. You should make a commander next. Here on west Europe format on 200 points os quite popular. Personally i recommend a Chaplin. Very curious how would Raptor Chaplin look like ;)
Really great tutorial ! I had no clue you can get ball bearings so small, to use them as rivets on power armour. Really awesome trick. Thank you for sharing this !
Lovin it!
Thanks!
These guys look so damn good.
awesome! I need to make a similar video for my desert ravens ) You game me lots of ideas on filming )
There are no accidents, only spontaneous offerings to Khorne.
On a side note, only the assault version of intercessors can be zealot specialists. But we'll let rule of cool be rule of cool.
more than anything i want this series with astra
Beautiful
Thank you
I love these! I am currently planning out a custom necron army that will have red plasma weaponry and red glowing eyes with mostly black and silver main colours but there is nowhere near as much to kitbash to make it look so cool! I might make a full space marine army and just create a custom faction in order to kitbash my entire own army and make my own rules for it :)
Seriously bang up job on these because they look amazing!
Pete, these guys are awesome. But they need rivals.
Recently made a deathwatch kill team, and I just had to include a raptor with extra handy storage bits.
I would love to see you tackle custodes in your style.
SOOOOOOOO COOL!!!
These look great! Cant wait for the Demo man.
Nice job.
Nice great job
Have you considered making models for the Chapter Serfs that support this Kill Team off (and potentially on) the battlefield? With the Space Marines having to focus on their duties upon the field of war, many of the logistical roles an army need are taken on by the chapter's serfs. Having a few of them to serve alongside their masters could be really cool - they'd not necessarily be part of the Kill Team itself, but an expanded look at those that get the Kill Team ready to do what they do.
Would be great to see a Krieg inspired Space Marine kitbash
*inhales* we need more inquisition-related stuff
My backstory for the zealot is that they were fighting the t'au and a stealth suit uncloaked and shot him with a fusion blaster, but to it's surprise, he survived
Really nice conversions ^^
The price of multiples kit to form one unit always discourage me to try, but maybe one day with enouth second hand part I will try converting ^^
I want to build a plauge marine army and I'm definitely going to use this as a baseline for how to build "medics"
i hope your veteran is a vanguard vet, would be cool to see some primaris lightning claws or a thunder hammer.
Also, i vote Chaplain for Commander, would love to see a tacticool chappy.
Can you do a painting tutorial for these guys?
There is one coming :D
