On a January night in 2002, a 37-year-old man donned a patriotic-themed uniform, covered his face with a skull mask and activated a long-held plan.
Armed with a .45-caliber pistol, crossbow, makeshift bomb launcher, 2-foot-long sword and double-barreled shotgun/assault rifle hybrid, Richard McCaslin made his way into a forest north of San Francisco. His mission: to find and expose a secretive group of elites who - he wrongly believed - engaged in child abuse and human sacrifice.
On a January afternoon nearly 20 years later, another man made his way from California to Washington, DC, on a quest to vanquish elites who, he wrongly believed, had stolen the presidential election from Donald Trump. Daniel Rodriguez, then 38, joined the mob that besieged the US Capitol on January 6, 2021. During the battle to breach the building, Rodriguez used a stun gun on a police officer, who would suffer a heart attack and traumatic brain injury.
Both McCaslin and Rodriguez said they had been inspired by a fiery conspiracy theory peddler named Alex Jones.

I also don't understand the fixation with stabbings, isn't murder rate a better indicator of the danger of a city.
London had 1.6 murders per 100,000 people in 2019.
NYC had a murder rate of 3.4, LA had 7.0, Baltimore had 55.8.

@A Gent I don't think there is an issue in this case with Alex Jones, since he has more knowledge than most people on the corruption in government and high places of society. As well as this, he has open his mind to the possibility that he knows nothing, and thus has been able to make discoveries about this same corruption to share with many people as he can.
Uphold your name, and be gentle, and slow to speak. Alex Jones is in the firing line, remember that. Often times it may seem the 'preacher' is most foolish among all men. But they have their role to play too.
Piers Morgan on the other hand, is a gutless puppet, because he doesn't bring actual facts but just antagonizes his guests until they either feel beat down or makes them out to be quacks. His opinions are not even his own, from his own research just scripts programmed in to him from his handlers (bosses, higher ups, shadow influencers etc.)

From what I gather Jones is saying that if everyone in the UK had a gun violent altercations would diffuse at the sight of a gun and there would be less violent crime as a whole but slightly more gun crimes. This is a good point, however, as sombody that was born and raised in an extremly impoverished part of the UK were crime is still extremely high, I have to say that I would feel alot less safe walking the streets knowing that everyone has a gun. You can defend yourself against a hoodie with a knife, you can fight, you can run... any idiot with fingers can pull the trigger and you have no chance. Also I don't belive that everyone having a gun would lower crime all that much I think it would be like GTA5 on my old estate.
The only valid reason for guns being legal in the UK is to give the public the ability to defend themselves against a tyrannical government. I think there is some sense in that argument but from the outside looking in it seems as though in the USA the middle and upper classes rarely are involved in gun crime but it makes big news when they are, whereas the poorer communities are killing each other daily and really suffering. Ask yourself who benefits from this?
