Hey man, thank you SO MUCH for this tutorial! I was trying to figure out how I was going to connect my ROLI Seaboard to my iPad with a cable, to record the MIDI data. You're shown here to just use the Bluetooth feature, and then that frees up the lightning connector to use for power and audio output. Plus you were one step ahead of me in showing us how to use Garageband with the MPE settings. Thank you so much! - Andrew Colyer, New York

Great tutorial, it would be great a second part in which you show how to connect Roli blocks to Cubasis, Auria pro and Beatmaker 3, I did not have success with any of them

Well that wasn't at all sneaky now, was it? Glad you got it sorted and were able to share. That there Seaboard is tempting for simulated instrument patches, and of course, for doing mighty keyboard dive bombs in Alchemy 😊

Inclusive Music Hi, Yes, The connector is the Apple Lightning USB3, so it’s charging the iPad and it’s also running my other midi keyboard

I did that, it does not work... I get sounds on most keys (not all) when I press, but it's all messed up and wrong. Same with the desktop version of garageband
