    My husband and I flew from Vegas to Shanghai and took the Bullet Train to Yiwu. It was fun. Word of warning, no one speaks English so take address of the places you want to go to give the cab drivers. And, there are no cheese burgers. I bought a 1.000 worth of jewelry an resold it for a 10 times markup which more than paid for my trip. I loved it.

    So you go from a passive income with POD to having to work 15 hours a day printing your own products and doing all of the shipping. And that doesn't even account for the HUGE upfront investment. No thanks.

      @CCoburn3 I cocur with your point but how do you manage quality, longevity and durability with POD onto garments please?

    • @CCoburn3
      @CCoburn3 Před 2 měsíci

      @@boydriver2978 You realize that you are in the T-shirt business and you are not making family heirlooms to be passed down to the children and grandchildren. In other words, you make sure the product you sell is good enough for the price. People don’t expect a t-shirt to last forever.

    • @CCoburn3
      @CCoburn3 Před 2 měsíci

      @@boydriver2978 Excuse me if this posts twice. I provided an answer, but I don't know what happened to it. Basically, you have to understand that you are in the t-shirt business and not the family heirloom business. People don't expect to be able to pass down t-shirts to their children and grandchildren. They buy a T-shirt, wear it a few times, and move on. They don't have the expectation that they will be wearing it in two years -- much less in 20. So you buy an occasional sample from your supplier, look online for complaints about the quality of your supplier's merchandise, and listen to your customers if they start to complain.
      What you DON'T do is spend a fortune on equipment because some random guy from CZcams does a video. If this guy could really become a millionaire with the type of business he's touting, he'd be a millionaire shirtmaker -- not a CZcamsr.

    Hi there :) first I want to say thank you for making all of these super informative videos! They are great! I am brand new to this game and I want to start my business out the correct way. I haven’t even purchased a machine of any kind yet and after listening to what you and your wife have created, I’d pretty much like to say that I would feel honored to follow in your footsteps. I think this DTF machine will be a perfect fit for me someday, I just can’t do it quite yet. But you mentioned leasing was an option. I went on the site and did not see where I would be able to do that, and I wrote to them and have not yet heard back. Also, I have been trying to locate the best of the best heat press machine and would like to know if the one you purchased is more than stellar, or if you would prefer a different one? I see so many people talking about all different ones but I want the one that will be the best bang for the buck, but also the best one there is. If you can help me with any of this, it would be so greatly appreciated 😊 thank you so much! You have inspired me to follow through with at least 3 of my business dreams so far! Now to start making it all happen!

    The problem with this business model is that it becomes a job not a business. To many steps involved in creating 1 item. Now, you have to hire employees, have a space for storage, ship the items, and the list goes on and on. So, the profit margins keep getting less and less until you're down to a $5 profit per shirt. How do you get to a point where you're making enough money to hire employees? You have to do all the work yourself and it's basically a job.

    Nice video and idea. Not sure it works with my current setup with Merch By Amazon and DTG. Amazon has the huge traffic, trust factor with customers, handles shipping and returns. I am creating all types of designs with my current POD business. Your idea is nice, but I figure it would need to be setup as a Branded clothing business with just a few designs for folks to choose from. I have hundreds of designs via my current POD business, I could not see having that many designs and printing it all myself. I know the profit increase would be great.

    I sent a message on your website questioning leasing options for this printing setup as mentioned in this video. When reaching out to the company, leasing is not available and the hot press is not included. The upfront investment for this printer is nearly $8K. Do you have a vendor in the states leasing these printers and tossing in the hot press? Any help would be appreciated.

    DTF isn't better than DTG or screen printing. Using DTF, you have to print the film, apply powder, put it in an oven to apply the powder, and then press it on a shirt. With DTG, I load the shirt and press print. There are shirts that come already pretreated, or you can pretreat your own in bulk.
