YES!!! I was thinking about getting the GM-2100-1AER but i wanted a tough solar g shock too. Now the gm2100 is tough solar + positive display at that price is a dream come true! Cant wait to get it !

ICERC 6900 Solar is the win for me - been wanting a 6900, but none have been solar which is essential IMO. MRG 2100 is a big miss compared with that the MRG B2000 brings to the party.
Meanwhile, my GR-B300-8A2ER turned up on Monday. Really nicely designed thing, and the 20% code on the G-Shock website worked so it only cost £217.

As always the MR G is a stunner but boy the price is also jaw dropping. I would actually go for GBM blue 2100 to add to my collection. But I do agree, the black and white is quite pleasing to the eye. Love Casio! You can't go wrong with it.

i hate the dinky little light on the 100$ 2100s.
i absolutely loathe that they kept the dinky little light for the 4800$ version. at that price, it should have full face light

A MRG casioak no digital display is OK, but if they put a GMT hand they probably would sell more,
I carnt afford it anyways, but its a nice under the radar watch.
Well well, MR-G is out of reach, awesome piece but oh so pricey, the G-5600SRF is interesting by the unique band that comes with it, I'm gonna check the specs on that one.

That MRG need to have some fancy schmancey movement for that price. I'm talking Chronomaster/Grand Seiko levels of quality & accuracy to be anything other than a mere cash grab.

you make no sense, buddy. There's no better and more quality movement than a Casio tough solar quartz. For instance, comparing a GS spring drive to a Casio MR-G is like comparing a bicycle to an UFO. The difference in quality is astronomical. Therefore, if a GS spring drive costs around $3-5k, a MR-G should cost trillions of dollars.
I love my g shocks
I'd love to see more simple style, pure analog G-shocks. That MRG is cool AF, but I wouldn't pay $5k for a watch, even if I'd be a trillionaire.

That MR-G Casioak is kinda meh?! They foregone the LCD display (and functions) for the analog dial look but the dial is so meh tbh. Tough sell.
Casio is good in making cheap watches this is crazy for nothing to give 5000 it's not Swiss made!
