It's so awesome seeing dreams become reality! Thank y'all for EVERYTHING you do for me! I hit the jackpot when we became friends!
They really are such good people. I kept hoping y'all would become friends and glad ya did. 👍💯😎 They should have won, but understand why.
The Crockers Amen to that🎈
Lol I've got lots of knowledge (I'm 70 this month) and time since my injury.. I watch lots of channels see what works and lots of disasters lol but you guys are AWESOME ❤you keep following your dreams.
Jason, you and Jacob could mark out two squares on the ground beside the sawmill the same size as one side wall and one end wall of your tiny house and lay the slabs on them to see how many slabs to cut.
Catch that saw dust for Jason’s composting toilet. Fresh!! I thought you should’ve won the contest for roasting him. Lol😁. Happy Mayday
I was thinking that there should be some kind of good use for that saw dust. 👍
Compost toilet is the perfect solution 👌
Could the cedar sawdust be used as mulch in the garden maybe?
Virginia Wiedower I don’t think the garden would b good, it compacts to much. I could b wrong tho
Very kind of you both to help Jason out! Blessings to you 🙏🏼💗💙
Jason impersonation was spot on 😂. That cedar looks amazing. Good work
I can't tell you how awesome it is to see you making planks for building from the trees on your own land. Beautiful cedar scented planks. You make building materials, I make spreadsheets. 🙂 Ah well. It takes all kinds.
The wood is beautiful really really beautiful. It’s great to see the job getting done in watching even without narration is still good.
Howling at Jason's impression of you, not bad at all! You guys have a fantastic friendship which is awesome to see. That cedar is stunning! Even when it browns off the variety of colour is amazing!
You two are like kids in a candy 🍭 store love ❤️ it.👍🐶😺😊
Those cedar trees are just gorgeous colors after milled Wow!!!👍👍👍👍👍👍 I also love just how you and your wife just mesh so well with Jason. It’s like you’ve been friends all your lives from childhood or like cousins , puzzle 🧩 pieces together just fit well. It’s like a very rare chemistry the three of you have, simply awesome ❤️♥️❤️♥️
Thank you! We’ve clicked with Jason pretty much since the first time we met. He’s truly a great friend! 👍
I can't wait to see the wood go up on the house and I think y'all are doing a great job milling the lumber.
You guys got a lot done. The 3 of you seem to work amazingly well together. ALEX IS A BADASS!!! She is always in there doing what needs to be done.

Cedar sawdust is a class a carcinogen. I'm a Jedi Journeyman Carpenter in Michigan. When Cutting it: we wear masks

That Eastern Red Cedar looks amazing, well done :)
Jacb,Alex,
You need to put a poop shoot bag on that saw dust so Jason can take it home for his compost toilet lol
BEAUTIFUL looking logs
Just a few ideas. Use the slab waste to make raised beds, flower boxes, etc. Outdoor table. Rustic table. My husband uses the slab wood and makes boxes to hold flowers at the cemetery or put on the porch. Also a box to hold napkins and plastic silverware on the picnic table. Great job folks. Stay safe and GOD BLESS
Wow can't wait to see what you make from this wood. Beautiful grain. I can imagine all kinds of things!
You guys are so amazing ill call you guys to build my house when i buy my love shack laters
Beautiful beautiful wood!!
You should lay a tarp down to catch all that sawdust. It can be used in so many ways. Garden, compost, chickens etc etc. And it smells so good!
I loved watching you mill the cedar logs ! They are such a beautiful wood to use!
man i see cabinets, end tables, a bed frame, dinning table, and so much more made from that wood
Gale I see the same thing lol
Great idea saving the saw dust for composting toilet. Be good for yours in the bunker. Pretty wood cant wait to see it up on the house.
Beautiful slabs of cedar. I can’t wait to see the house finished. Granny fan
I've said this before, but I love how hard Alex works! You two are a GREAT pair!
Thank you Shawn! I’ve never been one of those “that’s a mans job” type girls. I’m always right in there with the guys. Lol
This is so amazing! The cedar is such a beautiful cut of wood. I love watching the friendship building between the two families. Thank you for sharing! Your videos always make me smile 😊!
Thank you! 😊
In addition to saving the sawdust for Jason's composting toilet, mix some of the sawdust with wood glue to make the perfect matching nail filler.
Thank you for taking the time to make these videos!! Please keep them coming!!!
That's a good idea never thought of that.
The cedar is beautiful.

I saw a cool idea using slab wood to make cool shelves inside the house - really nice rustic look

Wish I was there to smell the cedar as y’all cut it. It really is beautiful wood. Put down a tarp to catch the sawdust, so you can use it. Wow, awesome
Removing the bark extends the life of the wood and your saw blade.
Will also keep bugs from invading
Great video guys

That mill is so awesome

Man you guys that cedar is awesome. ✌from your camien crocidile owning friend in Ohio.
Great job guys. Yall really work on this channel! Lol!
Jason does too!🤣🇺🇲❤🐓🙊🙉🙈🌶🌶🌶⛵
Thank you! 😊
The wood is gorgeous. I've watched a few guys on CZcams that have sawmills. One guy checks his wood for screws or nails first using a metal detector type thing. Another said wood glue and sawdust fill in the cracks. Alex, I'm glad you were able to rotate that motor. Jason must've broke a nail, so he had to run home.
Haha! 😄
wow so pretty put some linseed oil on them and they will shine ,, iam so excited for both of you guys your going to make a lot of beautiful things with that wood.
Dang....That is pretty stuff. I'd pay all I have to have you for a neighbor. Jason had better be counting his lucky stars. JMHO....God Bless....`Eli.

I could imagine the guy that told you, the Engine was on backwards, will now send you an email telling you that he made a mistake and viewed it wrong and that you had it on correctly all along. ;-) Art in Calif
Haha! It was definitely on wrong. Cuts a lot better now!
It’s very nice how you all help each other!! Love watching your videos and as you both always say..take care and God bless 🌺
Thank you Wendy! 😊
You’re very welcome 🌺
I can tell you really enjoy using this equipment. How amazing how they look. Have a great weekend, stay safe and healthy guys. 👍😁💗
U R Good People!
Thank you! 😊
Nice
Great 👍🏼 job
You should take a look at the channel outdoors with the Morgan's to see how to get lumber from logs with the bandsaw mill. Usually slice 2 slices from the top then flip it over and take off 2 slices the turn 90 degrees and make a large square to get boards from. Go watch a few of their videos and you will see how he gets his lumber. Looks like you are all doing well, stay safe. Best to all.
Any overthick cuts could be made for a table?? The Crafts and furniture you all could make...And yes, Fresh cut does look like Bacon, LOL! Jacob and Alex, you both work so hard and are a great team.. Thank you for sharing!!
Thank you Tilly! 😊
FROM SAWYER RIDGE FARM I got another little hint for you when you cut new slabs and if you want the straight edge lean it up against to the the wood that you cut it off of and you can run that played right down to their
BEAUTIFUL Cedar wood
Hey y'all have Jason put a tarp down to catch the cedar dust for his compost toilet.
Your going to have some beautiful wood in the end to make some wonderful outside furniture! Swings, benches, chairs, tables, end tables plus wonderful barn for the animals. What a sight to see a huge batten board barn for all your animals a home in one! And the hutches for your rabbits free of any bugs to worry about.
