  • In this video, I compare two Italian made coffee/espresso grinders for home use and highlight the pros and cons of each grinder. Since I have not seen many actual reviews for both grinders I thought I'd do one and share my own experience.
In the end, I decided to keep the Ceado E5P simply because it just feels more well rounded, quieter and faster to grind my coffee beans. But the Nuova Simonelli Grinta grinder is no slouch as well, offering consistent, reliable performance for 50% less the cost of Ceado E5P.
Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you.
Some Sub $1000 grinders that I think are good for making espressos at home:

It is interesting to see your video and retrospectively see myself... thinking that surely I do not need a fricking coffee grinder that costs 500+. Now,, I have grudgingly decided to spend the money to buy a good grinder. In the end, there are reasons that good grinders cost so much, and why people pay that much to buy them. Yes, Ceado is an excellent brand

FWIW, the newer ceado 5p have switched to a switch on the side that works with all porta filters

    Hi
Just today I got my nuova simonelli grinta in a good price . But I can't get the right size grinding for espresso ?
If you have an experience with it please give me a nearest number to start

The grind size varies greatly depending on beans so I honestly can not give you a good number to start, but i would suggest to have the grinder turned all the way in, and then back out 1/4 to 1/2 a turn and start there. Each different kind of bean needs to be custom dialed in
