    I knew you were going to have to unplug the harness. (Ask me how I know lol) those plugs you pulled out looked good to me. Had plenty of life left on them. The chocolate color looked good too they showed a good fuel and air mixture. Nice video. Good straight forward directions

    Hi Nice video Could you please let me know all the tools you used this. I want to buy them and do it my self

      Thank you! The spark plug socket you will need is a 9/16. You will need plenty of extention as the plugs are down a good ways. Autozone sells a 9/16 sparkplug socket by dualistic that comes with a extention,but you will need more extention length to reach the plugs.snug BY HAND and then put your ratchet on and slowly untighten

    • @righteousredneck777
      @righteousredneck777  Před rokem +1

      You will also need a 10mm socket to remove the bolts holding the coils in place

      @@righteousredneck777 Thank you for your reply. How many extensions need except from autozone spark plug socket that comes with socket

    Im not a mechanic but if you add the electric lube to the spark plug then insert your spark plug in the socket. Doesnt the rubber piece in the socket take most of it off? So instead, should it be added to the coil?

      That's a good point! I will look into that and you make a great point with this.

      9/16. Go to autozone. They have a dualistic already attached to a extention that has a bit of a swivel. Perfect for spark plugs

    You have the wrong spark plug socket, it takes a 14mm that’s why the one you’re using isn’t grabbing the plug correctly, I work for a Toyota car dealership and both of my brothers are mechanics at the same dealership so I know what I’m talking about, you’re welcome

    Using all that greae on the plugs, both ends, is HIGHLY arguable, depending on the mechanic doing the work. There are SO many that say do not put the grease on the plugs. It just is not necessary and is of no real benefit. Depends on who trained you, I guess.....

    • @righteousredneck777
      @righteousredneck777  Před 6 měsíci

      Many say that they are pre lubricated,but yet I don't see any on any new plugs. Lol...I figure a little dab can't hurt

    • @user-zq5jd7ee9n
      @user-zq5jd7ee9n Před 6 měsíci

      @@righteousredneck777 Yeah, I just bought some today. They are not pre-lubed. Could depend on the manufacturer, I suppose. But in my entire life I have never seen lubed spark plugs.
