I just want to say when ordering your plugs order the Denson boot kit as well. Just fyi guys and gales, get the specs for your plug torque as well...once other thing air. Filter and tape the spark plug EXSTENTION too the spark plug socket.I believe it is 15 ft lbs tightening it down harbor freight has 1/2" torque wrench even a 3/8" torque wrench is available to calibrate the wrench from bottom, start then take all the way up do that 3 times back to 0 if u need instructions watch a video on CZcams have a great day guys and gales

Denso Iridium spark plug SC20HR11 or 3444 is a 14 mm socket

Dielectric grease is for the metal to metal contact of the plug and wire not to seal the bottom of the coil

THAT"S what a tune-up is?.. just that?.. man... I admit, it's odd having experienced the two worlds... the world of the dumb non-mechanic, that knows nothing about fixing, well... anything. And then of course, being at a point where I have fixed a number of things. The whole time though, never knew the "tune-up" advertised where ever... is nothing more than spark-plugs. Why not just rename it to a less, deceptively ambiguous name for the service?.. anyhow, I feel better now.

For this car yes it's just spark plugs.
Most other vehicles have spark plug wires and boots. Older vehicles also have a cap and rotor that needs to be replaced when doing a tune up.
So no it is not just spark plugs

Right on NGKs website they say their products DO NOT REQUIRE anti sieze or bulb grease. Also the WRONG spark plugs used in package. No wonder this clown never showed the car running at the end of the video. The car didnt start. Terrible terrible. Blocked his channel from appearing

Hi it would be better if you unscrew and removed the to panels off easy access

You used a totally incorrect brand of spark plug on this car. 2009-2013 Corollas require Denso spark plugs only. It clearly states this in the owner's manual. NGKs will damage the coils and cause multiple codes to pop up eventually. Are you even qualified?

You can use other brands as long as they meet the parameters but I came here to watch and help with a friend's Corolla tuneup and this is what is called lack of preparation as he didn't know what size tools to use from the beginning. Toyota does not use the typical size spark plug socket. The way he pulls the extension out after installing the plug could easily crack one too. What he refers to as " bulb grease" is the dielectric compound for electrical applications.
