Information for foreign tourists who don't know: Bayramoğlu Döner has no other branch. It is the shop that sells the most daily doner kebab in a single shop in Turkey. They sell at least 1 ton of doner kebab daily. This means hanging at least 8-9 doner kebab. circulation is high. Its taste is number 1 according to many people and food gourmets. I went in 2020 to this same place and got the same amount of doner 250g and it was only around £4.50 even though the convertion rate was worse back then to what is it today... Inflation has ruined Turkey. It used to be a cheap place, I been 7 times. It was one of my favourite destinations. But now it's too expensive.
In 2018 I remeber paying £1.50 for full English breakfast and £2 for fish and chips, absolute bargains. My last visit to the same places in 2023 Full English is now £13 and fish and chips is £15!! You'll find cheaper Full English and fish and chips here in UK.

I think while you are ın Turkey and taste these wonderful flavors, you can ask local people how they eat those dishes. Of course, it is best to try and interpret it in your own way, but for example, if you lift the bread on the kebab, take a bite with a fork, and then put it back on the kebab until you take the other bite, you will prevent the kebab from cooling down. This way, you will maintain the temperature of the kebab until it is finished and it will be more delicious. I don't know where you will go next, but you can use the words kokoreç, söğüş, etli ekmek, içli köfte as keywords. Of course, even if you only try döner kebab in other restaurants, you should stay in Istanbul at least 1 month :)

Finally eating a kebab in Istanbul. Been watching your Istanbul vids, suprised you went to the home country where the doner kebab was invented and it took you so long to have a kebab.
I been here in 2020 I remeber paying £5 for the same 250g of meat.. Inflation has killed Istanbul for me. It used to be a cheap holiday.. Not anymore.
But this wasn't even my favourite kebab. This place would be my 3rd best. This is lamb kebab. My favour place was a wood fired horizontal beef kebab next to blue mosque, it'll be more expensive now as beef is more than lamb but it's the juiciest kebab meat you'll ever have and it's world famous too. 2nd favourite place is the world famous biggest donner spit. Don't remeber names. Also wish you tried adana wrap from taksim.. Its world famous too, channel 4 did a food series on it.

Danny please try the normal local restaurants where they serve locally produced, seasonal products’ dishes. What I recommend is that YANYALI FEHMİ RESTAURANT in Kadıköy district. You will love.

Your comment history is in full. Joining circlejerks chastising people for not dishing the handouts left right and centre for the homeless is sad. Hypocrites who supposedly care should throw everything away and be homeless. It's only the hyper privileged that virtue signal anyways.
