- Episode 35 - Discover Istanbul’s Asian and European sides-and taste a range of must try Turkish dishes. We met up with our guide Onder and he said "hope have come hungry: you have a day of feasting ahead of you." We crossed the Bosphorus to trendy Kadikoy to visit multiple deli's and restaurants. Kadikoy is mix of traditional and modern worlds. After about 4 hours of tasting some amazing dishes, we then take the ferry back over the Bosphorus to Karakoy Iskelesi to enjoy Istanbul at night. We finish the tour enjoying Kunefe desert with Turkish ice cream.

Yabancilar dahi "Turkiye" seklinde telaffuz ederken, bizimki hala "Turkey" diyor ! Hey Allah'im ya !!!
Red meat contains iron. Vitamin C increases iron absorption. That's why we use lemon a lot when eating meat. We squeeze lemon into the Turkish stuffed meatballs. We squeeze lemon into the lahmacun. While eating kebap, we eat a salad with lots of lemon on the side. Also tantuni etc. :) I think our guests coming to our country should also know this. It is much more delicious with lemon.
Wow wish we knew that fact before making this video. As we always say, 'Every day is a classroom'😅
Made my taste buds excited 😮

Iskender is my favorite.
Sarma yemeği evlerde vişneli yapılmaz. Sadece özel restoranlarda vişneli Sarma bulabilirsiniz. Limonlu sarma daha popüler

Greek dolmades in Istanbul??🤣🤣It's yaprak sarma. Dolma means 'stuffed' but nothing in Greek.
🔥🇹🇷🔥🤌🏻
Kumpir??
İstanbuldan daha iyisi diger bolgelerde. Malatya, antep, adana, urfa, diyarbakir ,Tokat, kayseri, bursa, konya vsvs
Yemek yeme sahneleri çok kısa. Yani yemeği yerken tepkileri göremiyoruz ve anlamsız bir video oluyor. Bence bunu dikkate alın
Cok yanlis bilgilerle cekmissiniz videonuzu
What information is wrong 🤔
‘Dolma’kelimesi Türkçe olarak Doldurmak fiilinden geliyor..İşte nasıl oluyorsa Yunan dolmades oluveriyor …Türkiye’de gezip Yunan dolması yiyoruz diyorsunuz …o zaman gidin Yunanistan’a LOKMA’des yiyin DOLMA’des Yiyin
…Bizim olan kültürümüze de saygı duyun …
The name 'dolma' has been borrowed by the Greeks from the Turks, however the food itself stems from ancient Greece. In ancient Greece, dolmades were called 'Thria' and were made with tender fig leaves! In fact records show that Dolma was first prepared in the city of Thebes, an ancient town on the Nile River. The natives of Thebes stuffed seasonal meat and vegetables into vine leaves to make a dolma-like dish.
Dolmalar Nil nehrinden, önce Türklere sonra yunanlılara gelmiş demek ki :)))))
@@FairDinkumAdventureactuallu it is not clear because east cebtarl asians turka like uyhurs are even make dolma which is " sarma " in turkish and means warapping turks might have brought it to this area or maybe they had two smilar food which later mixed
That true Gulluoglu baklava is most famous all Turks knows that.
And now also some of us foreigners 😋👍🏼
The taste of Adana kebab can only be found in city of Adana, the others are just similar.
Ok thanks looks like a trip to Adana one day 👍🏼🤠
