      String beads, use needle, follow through beads, string once, loop around again, go through bead, knit once, tie once, tie once, knot again, make a left, go over the river and through the woods, tie another knot, connect 4, the get a yatzee, throw some glue on it, and hide the knot.

    I do exactly the same thing !! Only difference is that I stretch my elastic before I bead it for a bracelet I stretch and pull at it before I feel that it helps that way it's not "surprised" when people are trying it on!! If that makes sense 😉

      It worked with small beads for me just now but not the tiny ones. You can buy different gauge (thickness/weight) stretch cord. You can use thinner for tiny beads.

    Take a coper thin wire from electric wire and rollover tha elastic and insert that wire in crystal bts

      No that's why I love the Opelon but like with everything, given enough time, yes it could stretch out. By doubling it up it helps distribute the stress of that wear and tear.

    I am slightly confused. You should going two beads passed the start of the Opelon but when you go to tie both sides together they are right next to each other and not a couple beads apart. Am I just seeing it wrong? Thank you for your help

    You can just… fold the string in half and put that into the big eye needle. Then just string beads like normal and tie off and you have four strings instead of two.

    The problem I encounter is whenever I have used Opalon with glue, it always breaks within 3-4 months as the glue has eaten away at the string.

    Are these large hole beads? What method to you recommend if holes aren’t that large? Ream one bead to cover the knot?

    Wow the holes in your beads must be huge. I tried putting a broken pearl bracelet on elastic and the holes are tiny

    This is a good idea but I tie it differently just cuz I cut the extra elastic so you can't tell and the beads just go over the knot so it doesn't look like it has a knot

      All depends on your beads. If you have larger holes you can use a thicker Opelon.

    How is Opelon the best when it freys every time I handle it? I have the same kind, size and everything. But imma try the not in this short and see what happens. I couldn't catch the first step either but I figured it wasn't necessary cause you said if my beads allowed. Thank you for the tip.
