Hi. Great video. Inspired me to go play around with verse/chorus. What I found out, the TRK CHAIN setting would only apply in PARALLEL mode since it affects the routing of the audio. Setting this to SERIES would feed the output of TRK1 into input of TRK 2. This has no use in case where we are only having one track at a time. I think the more useful setting is SINGL CHANGE, this can be IMMEDIATE or LOOP END. When set to LOOP END looper will switch tracks when the current track reaches end of loop. I found this to be really useful as you can hit the button to switch tracks at any time. The lights on the RC-500 flash to let you know it is primed to switch tracks at LOOP END. Your video really helped demonstrate the feature. Cheers

I tried quantize . It was off and i turned it to measure. But it doen't change anything. There are often some timing issues .That is my own playing of course but I thought that it would be possible to quantize the recordings . In looping in general (with a single track looper too) it is difficult to be just in perfect time when you hit the record button. And the drumtrack seemed to be independent from my guitar recordings. So if the recording was pretty good (in time) and i change channel to 2 and hit the button just a hair to late it doesn sync (quantize ) in time. I had a hope it did. Hope you cab help me. Thanks. Loop s off etc. ) Daarna als volgt:
Hi Mike, once you have set everything as previously described, go into T1 and T2 and make sure MEASURE is set to AUTO on both tracks. Then save to a memory slot (example memory slot 10) This tells the looper to record loops of whatever length you like in sync with the rhythm, time signature and bpm set in other settings. They can be the same length, one can be shorter, one can be longer, doesn't matter, rhythm will sync, it will work perfectly. Great for a verse, chorus situation. Now, use this memory slot as your template for new recordings. What I mean by template, is don't record anything over it and save over it. Instead, useing our example of saving this template in memory slot 10 do this. Go into memory slot 10, immediately save it to another memory slot, say memory slot 11. Then record into that memory slot. This leaves your template in memory slot 10 unchanged. The reason to do this is that as soon as you record a loop the T1 and T2 setting in MEASURE will change to the number of measures you record ( because by recording we are telling the looper how many measures T1 and T2 are) So this works great for the first song, say T1 is 8 measures and T2 is 4 measures. But when you change to the next song, unless by coincidence they line up and T1 is 8 measures and T2 is 4 measures, things will get very, very messy. This is not a fault at all with the looper, its just a matter of understanding what is happening, depending on how we program it. The other way to clear the T1 and T2 measure lengths is to hold the right footswitch down until the light turns purple, then hold the centre button down to clear it back to the original template settings. Hope this helps

I think there needs to be a way to allow quantize to RHYTHM on record, but still have tracks always start from beginning.
