I’ve owned many many many belt drives and direct drive but never gear driven,I’m wondering if the price point is different by a lot or sort of same ball park,if possible can you elaborate a little bit on the price between a 10 gallon per minute belt in a 10 gallon per minute gear for my next build. I build a few every year so very interested

Gear drive and Belt Drive run the same. Gear drives take up less space.
A belt drive is an easy belt change if anything stops the motor or pump abruptly. But it takes a long time to re align and adjust the belt.
A gear drive would need to replace a gear box which is about $150 and put back on with 4 bolts.
One is money. One is time.
They both are extremely reliable options.
If you buy a belt drive. Buy a Bandit Belt drive.

If my math calculation is correct those motors cannot pump 3500 psi at 10 GPM those motors are 25 hp it looks like you would need at least a 40 hp
Based on specs and HP they can do it! Most math calculations are based on old specs. The new motors are in fact producing enough rpm with the gear box to drive 3500 psi with 10gpm easy!
