Red Dead Redemption 2 is a 2018 action-adventure game developed and published by Rockstar Games. The game is the third entry in the Red Dead series and a prequel to the 2010 game Red Dead Redemption. The story is set in a fictionalized representation of the United States in 1899 and follows the exploits of outlaw Arthur Morgan, a member of the Van der Linde gang, who must deal with the decline of the Wild West whilst attempting to survive against government forces, rival gangs, and other adversaries. The game is presented through first- and third-person perspectives, and the player may freely roam in its interactive open world. Gameplay elements include shootouts, robberies, hunting, horseback riding, interacting with non-player characters, and maintaining the character's honor rating through moral choices and deeds. @@CambonanoIf you go into the fence at Van Horn you can find her luggage. The lantern that is sitting on top of her luggage occasionally glows as a hint to the saloon you found the poster at: Old Light Saloon. That's as far as they took it. She actually is in the game, the only way to see her is through going through the game files. So Van Horn is pretty much just a stopping point now for those who don't want to travel at night.

This may be addressed later in the video, but before I forget: 1. The white Andalusian horse will spawn again by that waterfall. 2. When you craft a satchel (or trinkets/talismans) you get the benefit of ALL of them no matter which one you have active at the moment. Selecting one is just a visual change.
3 play thrus and I just found the out about the satchels. Also, once you unlock the bandolier you get the benefit rather you use one or not.

the north east part of the map with the murfree is the creepiest area of the map in my opinion. lots of cool stuff you can find hidden in the forests, would definitely dedicate some time to exploring the beautiful yet scary mountains found up there.

Hi Cam, Remember you can fish as well as hunt for meat. hunting all shapes and sizes for different meat to cook up will fill your satchel and help for those needed cores. The easiest way to get Big Game meat is Alligator's. When you are in the north area like where the Palomino Andalusian ( will return in a couple game days to same location ) you want is, search for Golden Currants. These combine with hay and beets ( from stables ) will craft a horse meal that will give your horse fortified cores. LMAO. the look you gave when Marko told you to climb the tower. If you search the area a little SW of Marko's ( looks like a donut with ears ) in the forest, you might find something interesting. WOW! You almost have all the satchel made. To unlock the Materials satchel, just go to the campfire near the gazebo at Shady Belle and craft ANY 3 items ( takes a minute to complete, best done before the end of this chapter ).Now all you have to do is hunt 3 star pelts. Looks like you need a badger and squirrel for the Ingredients satchel. Look around the battle field of Bolger Glades for these guys. The Beaver pelt you need for the Valuables satchel is along the river just south of Beecher's Hope or Lake Owanjila. For the Materials satchel you need a deer, boar ( also around Bolger Glades ) and an Iguana ( found on large island across from last camp by Rhodes ) Once these pelts are handed into Pearson and crafted, The Legends of the East will unlock, now you need a deer, cougar ( N and NW of Annesburg and N of Lake Owanjila ) and wolf ( N of Hanging Dog Ranch and Cotorra Springs ) to craft this satchel. You can hunt ALL these animals first ( they don't take up space on your horse ) then turn them all in to Pearson and you have completed all the satchels. Hooray! Yes you did lose your free gun, you need to collect the free gift right after your conversation with the gift giver. P.S. You can donate the fangs, talons, horns and antlers ( not legendary ) to Pearson for camp funds.

There's a trapper and a fence located in a little market in Saint Denis.
That’ll probably be easier going there instead of Strawberry 😆🌼

The Rolling Block Rifle (+ better cartridges) is good for hunting larger game, actually anything bigger than a squirrel. The Springfield Rifle is almost as good. So you're doing okay. And customizing a rifle is a cheap operation. Barrels and iron sights improve accuracy, scopes and new riflings improve range. Unique weapons cannot be customized though. - Okay, I'll catch you later then.
The amount of detail this game into is legendary, and one of my favorite details happens during the duel with Jim Boy. If watch carefully, Slim reaches for his belt buckle with his off hand and tries to shine the sunlight into your eyes. So he was a dam cheater. I love it!
The wild Andalusian is one of my favorite horses in the game. Not the fastest, but compact and built for war. Very nice looking too! That spot you found it at is the only place it spawns on the entire map.

You're on the right track with questioning Dutch.
For the spawning of Andelusian horses, just keep going back to where you saw it and you'll find it, but not on the same "day". Sometimes Fast Travel away, then back and ride to the location, is enough.
I did the exact same thing: Took pen and paper and wrote down what pelts are needed for the different satchels. Sometimes these items are still useful.

There's a lot of creepy things on this part of the map. Left from Van Horn, right next to the train trucks there's an old abandoned building. If you can find a way to get to the top floor, there's a little secret there for you.
This was a great episode you made here. I was on the gunslinger mission to, and followed your path, and the white horse showed up first time like you experienced. So I had my lasso ready. I blocked the way, so it ran towards the waterfall. That way it was in deep water and couldnt run away from me so fast. I lassoed it pretty quick, and calmed the shit out of it, and it was very easy and fast to tame in the deep water. Also, I noticed you ran into a black bear, so I got that one into my compendium aswell. The white moose I havent found yet though. the "?" doesnt appear on my map. It tells me Im in legendary territory though.
The way Arthur didnt move and stayed on his back after crashing into those logs 😂

Hi Cam! I just want to applaud your decision NOT to go after the white Arabian. I've watched several play throughs of RDR2 and in every case the player felt the same way about it as you. They felt Arthur was too tall for it, and it usually spent the rest of the game in a stable after being ridden for a short time. One person had said that they would have preferred if the horse rode Arthur. I'm Really enjoying your play through. Especially all the attention you pay to the side quests. Carry on, but most importantly, have fun with your game!

it's interesting to think Arthur and John are probably one of the best or even are the best Gunslingers in history but they weren't interested in the fame.

i don't know if you already know by now, but if you scare a horse away from an area (specifically the "rare" ones that stay in one area) if you leave for a day or two and come back, they'll be back :) the one near brandywine is my favorite. it's pink! unlike the white arabian tho, any other rare horses have a 50/50 percent chance of being either gender. or if you want to set up camp, dont set up where it spawns but somewhere nearby. if you're too close consider it like arthur scaring it away
loving the playthrough, as always ❣ and yeah, dutch is something else 😅 i really feel for arthur having to go along with whatever harebrained scheme dutch hatches, but the gator was WILD
Always hunt a moose if you see one, as they're EXTREMELY rare. A 2 star moose can become a 3 star moose if you have the Buck Antler Talisman, I think.

In the area you now entered in the north part of the game think its close to an homestead called Willards Rest and from charter 5 it Will be able to give Arthur a opportunity to a friendly or sense of a romantic encounter or at least life saving to a special lady..
There was something about Dutch taking a hard hit to his head. Probably has something to do with his behaviour. The Isabeau case was written out of the game. In Van Horn you can find some hints in the store. There are a few encounters. One at the bar, one by a campfire with a stranger and another with a woman you save that talks about the matter. But she can't be found. One of the biggest mysteries that players tried to figure out. Someone found some files in the PC version but it was not used in the final game

1:36:44 i've played this game for years and have never had npcs shootout with one another like this. it's always me having a shootout with that whole town but never npcs having a shootout with each other 😂😂😂 that shit must've been a glitch or something lol
Lol it was cool, it's been randomly happening in my game for a couple of weeks and if it's a bug then I hope they leave it, spontaneous gunfights that aren't directed at Arthur are cool and you can get involved or not and run the risk of being dragged in :)
It’s not a glitch it’s just a hard encounter to get, since Arthur wasn’t the aggressor is this encounter none of the people shot him, they just shot the guy that started the fights. I’ve had something similar happened in GTA 4, a random guy tried to fight me and a police officer was walking by so he arrested him instead of me. This is why Rockstar Games are so great : )

if you get a 3 star/perfect pelt from a panther and give it to trapper he can make the best saddle whit all stats in the game and it matches your horse's color and you have to pick it up in a stable after
Legendary kills... best to use your most powerful stuff... such as explosive rifle bullets. You can kill Legendry's with a bazooka and it wouldn't matter the quality is always the same.
The horse you were looking for can spawn on the cliff you were searching OR on the cliff just ABOVE that one
When hunting , Study it before killing the animal

Bit late on this one Cam.. catching up on your playthru :D The rare horses have very localized spawn locations, so if one has despawned on you it will normally re-appear if you save and reload.

If you are willing to hunt all legendary animals, you should finish all the the huntsman challenges to spawn a legendary jaguar(or panther idk) somewhere near rhodes.
The pelt will also can be used to make a really cool cloak so it would totally be worth it.

they were shooting that guy in van horn because van horn has no law, so if you shoot somebody in that town or start fights then they will all start shooting at you because they are basically the law lol
I would say finish all the mayor missions before the big bank robbing mission, it just works better with the story that way.
Hope for another video tomorrow or Thursday or a message to wait another week. For me this release is another play through of the game and in that way I for myself would play it now in the end in a more fast pace. Most important improvement should be in this game a fast message. “I am not able to release content this week please have patience for next 7 days..or what is reasonable to expect” then neither you Cam or we need to feel waiting or pushed to anything and you are in perfect control to your own pace and information to your growing fan base…just a thought for now and further releases. Pleas be excuse if I expect to much when I don’t know how easy to inform through CZcams if not release content or if real life made those weeks unable to make content and that circumstances is fully understandable to not release or give any comments.

Interestingly I read today that if you ignore all the main story missions for an extended period the game will literally come to you. You'll be riding round and Havier or someone will ride out of the forest and ask you to come help another member of the camp who is being held hostage.

You do realize you dont have to suck the poison right? You can give him a potion or health cure I think.
You keep buying "Rifle" cartridges, but you use your Repeater rifle. You should be buying "repeater" cartridges. Also, High Velocity has longer range and Express has higher damage and higher range than regular. You change ammo in the gun selection screen, at the bottom of the middle part after you've selected a weapon. I use almost exclusively Express ammo. Seems to work in all situations.
