A couple of years ago I was asking God for more clients. He so clearly said to me “you can’t even take care of the ones you have, why would I give you more?” And then showed me some of these same scriptures. I’m so grateful to serve a God who corrects us and disciplines us. Praise God!

Yes,I am more productive in the evening..but I wanted to be fruitful all through.
I started confessing "I am a morning person, and I want to give God the freshest time of the day".

Daily prayer is essential because the enemy launches their attacks at night while we sleep. Then we wake up depressed, bewildered and have an unpleasant day. Early prayer helps us to feel stronger, closer to God, not affected so harshly by the enemy's plots & schemes. Bless you all, mighty conquerors.

I admit I'm a lazy Christian but also lazy in general. I know I need to improve, but to get the "jump start" and keeping the momentum is quite difficult for me. God bless all the people struggling trying to find their peace ✝️
You can change though! Lazy isn't who you are. You've been redeemed and are a new creation. Ephesians 1 says who you are. Maybe start praying that over yourself, that you're a new creation and that your work ethic is being made new every day. I had to keep praying that over my mind for focus for years but I've been healed now of struggling to concentrate! Praise God! He can heal whatever is making it difficult for you to change your work habits. Ask Him what's at the bottom of it and ask Him for help in praying through that. Maybe someone spoke over you that you were lazy and you received that. You can repent for believing that lie that was spoken to you and throw off that bondage, in Jesus's name. But it can all change, today even. God bless you!
With general laziness, please start doing some chores little by little,it will make you develope interest for working first and it will also mentain consistency, like,wash one cloth a day,a t-shirt and a shot..just that when you wake up ....if it is prayer, simply begin with "thank you Jesus sincerely..then u build up....
You're not alone, but unfortunately, no one automatically snaps out of the habit of laziness. The Holy spirit is always available, but we need to show a willingness to be helped, and the best way to do this is by outlining things that need your attention. When you do that, just get into doing them and trust the spirit of God to help you complete the task.

I being having a lot trouble with laziness. I’m a nurse, single mother and love to serve God but because My laziness my prayer life goes down sometimes. Even reading the Bible. I pray that God gives me the will to overcome this.

I'm a nursing student & if I am not studying I am at placement working. What I realized is that I like being at work more and engaging with my patients but I am also an over worker. It often leads me to exhaustion and when it comes to my studies I have nothing left to give. Then I think I'm lazy, end up procrastinating because I put so much pressure on myself and get myself into thinking that I'm unable to finish my assignments or studying. I need prayer to be more productive and to stop procrastinating. 🙏💖
I wanted to add Proverbs 31, the virtuous woman. Whenever I know I have something to do but I just feel lazy or unmotivated for example cleaning. I would meditate on this scripture and pray it.The Holy Spirit would then take over. The result is that I would have the grace to clean all day and have to force myself to stop in the night. I want to try it for other things such as business and ministry. This scripture covers many of the areas that we should be diligent and excellent in.

Satan wants us to think we are good with God. The truth is that he will put a spirit of laziness over you, and make you think you are doing a good thing as a Christian, but we don’t see or realize the laziness. Which will eventually lead you to sin and astray. Praise God all the days of your life. He is making a place of REST for us. This world was not meant to be a place to rest. Good point- the earth is not a place of rest, He is preparing a place of rest! Great reminder. Jesus is our rest too though when we need it here. We have everything we need in and through Him. He says "Come to me all ye who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest". And "My yoke is easy and My burden is light". He can refresh the soul and strengthen the spirit in a fraction of time being lazy will!

Whenever I start getting lazy and reluctant to read my Bible and pray, I forget why I am spending time with God in the first place. I say "I mean, I don't have to be praying EVERY day..." But that is a deception from the devil trying to keep you out of God's Blessings! The word says, "The righteous man meditates on his word day and night." So, whenever I get lazy, I remember that the Lord called me by name to walk with him, and that he died for me so that I could live for him. Thanks Vivian for this video, I've been struggling with laziness lately, finding myself watching T.V instead of praying. It's wonderful how the Lord loves us so much that he uses other people to help us; he even used the source of my laziness, Social media to set me back on track. His strength is made perfect in weakness.😊🙏👍
I’ve recovered from spiritual laziness, but when it comes to tasks like my school work I feel really unmotivated and stuff. It’s actually anxiety and the feeling that I won’t be able to perform the task perfectly… not really laziness. But maybe it can still apply to the passages you spoke about

I used to feel like this aswell, just remember NOTHING, no piece of work we do will ever be perfect no matter how much time or effort you put in so it's better to try your best, put a decent amount of time in and don't stress about the nitty gritties because if you don't make mistakes, you'll never improve. That's something that really helped me to stop being a perfectionist and to just have a go when it comes to school. I hope this will be helpful to you if you end up reading it.

i also struggled w this like Lumine. I try to recall to do work like I'm doing it for God (Colossians 3:23-24). More revelation came from it
i put my fears n worries on the alter (almost like "giving up" but to God). When i did that i could see what I was spending too much time on my worldly things (studying). It eventually led to the revelation that i should be studying another subject (from prayer and fasting).
I feel like laziness has crept into my life my and I've allowed it, and this has definitely been eye opening. To give me a little more nudge. God did not make us to just do nothing, but be working as He had put Adam to work, so we must be also. Thank you !!

ive been stuck in a depression for these last 6 months. struggled with getting anything done or even taking myself outside. id rather sleep or lay around but ive been getting things done little by little but ALWAYS in a rush.
this is a message for me. thank YOU. im letting my life slip away by being this lazy and depressed person. im not letting it control me anymore. i will train my body and mind to LOVE waking up at 4AM. it's the only time i have for myself and i need to make room for God in my life, too.
Take it a day at a time. God loves you. Be gentle with yourself and allow God to work in your life. Being depressed sucks, I’m there myself, but everyday the Holy Spirit reminds me of God’s love for me. You will be okay. Everything will work out cause you’re God’s child. I love you ❤️

Don't stress yourself too much if you can't do certain things as quickly as you want. It's best to be gentle and patient with yourself. Pray to God he helps you heal and help you with depression. you're not what you think you are when bad thoughts get to you. God really does restore you because I used to hate myself about two years ago.Sometimes it won't happen overnight the healing but he does help and give us strength. I feel better and I don't think that bad stuff anymore, so that's proof you won't be sad forever. You can do it and you will get through it :)

Matt. 6:16-17 says “Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face.” So Jesus expects us to fast since He said “When you fast.” He helps you through it, and don’t feel condemned if you mess up. I was literally living comfortably in my zone of laziness, I would never get things done and I really thought my life is good. thank you for this
I’ve heard this video before because I struggle with laziness in my walk with God. I started to become deligent , Praise God! But recently went through a loss that lead me to stop caring and slowly but surely on my 3rd week became lazy again. I stopped waking up early and praying and reading much less go to the gym . So I came back to this video again…. And it’s hitting different and much deeper with a greater understanding. Y’all I need to repent cuz I kept telling myself that I shouldn’t be too hard in myself and should just sleep it off.
I’ve been convicted lately that the way to overcome feeling sluggish and tired is to do a fast and drink water only. But I’m so addicted to food I can’t make it through a day of not eating. The enemy loves to keep us fat, tired, and physically & spiritually weak.
Perhaps you can approach this taking small steps. Maybe you can abstain from eating until a certain time ; 2hrs. each day.Then build from there until you get to the place where you fast a whole day.
No guilt, no condemnation, that is not how God works. Seek him, listen for His peace & direction and THEN take the baby steps He enables you to grown into. He’ll never love you more than he does at this very moment. Sometimes it works better to focus on the foods & drinks we should be drinking, and not the one we shouldn’t. As soon as we tell ourselves we HAVE to do something, our flesh fights back. But, seeking God and walking in each thing he leads, with falls & slips included, leads to true growth by His grace and power and not our own. Bless you Sarah❤️
I was addicted to food for a long time. I cannot say I' m free yet, bo what has helped me tremendously is cuttind down on carbs, especially for breakfast and lunch. You could also try intermitenned fasting. It really helped me with eating late at night. You can do 3 meals a day ( no snacking), than 2 meals a day and with time I will not be that difficult to do a 24hr fast. I' m still praying that the Lord takes away my sugar addiction. He has healed me from weed addiction, so I belive tis one is next. Blessings to you.
Save your carbs for night time. Having carbs for breakfast and lunch cause a sedative effect.
You start with a fast from food while you take drinks, like fruit drinks or chocolate tea, or vegetables. Then take time to spend it listening to messages and talking to God and journaling what you're hearing. That way your focus will shift away from eating for long. You need God's help you can't do it on your own ability.
I'm reminded of the parable of the talents. Laziness leads to us not living a pleasing and fulfilling life to God. We bury the tools God gave us for growth and flourishing and in the end wonder why we suffer. This revelation is beautiful and so true! Keep up the Good Work my sister.

I'm too lazy to read the bible. But why is the bible the only source of knowledge. There are billions of ambiguous books out there with wisdom in it. The bible is open to anyone's OWN interpretation or opinion.

But no one is qualified to dictate scripture but god himself and if you don't hear it from the horse's mouth God himself then it is a lie by default coming from sinners/christians.
So in essence you are saying that you are god bc that's what it all boils down to in the end. God himself hasn't spoken a single word. It's always ppl saying god said this or that. Let god speak for himself. Man/woman is a liar and can't be fully trusted if at all.

@@oraibitamuno2892 In summary. We Christian's tend to point out other peoples sins eg "The bible forbids Drunkenness" but we tend to forget that as a Christian the bible also forbid laziness. So she was saying have the time we are pointing out other peoples sins we don't realise that we too are failing to go by the scriptures.

The hardest thing is to move from stillness to movement. I fight this very thing myself living with several chronic illness that require laying down and resting many hours a day. But, when it’s time to get up, it’s almost like being glued down to the bed! I am learning to walk in baby steps and doing the next thing next. Not looking at the overall big picture which can be overwhelming, but looking to Jesus for each little step, and then doing it! Sometimes I succeed, and sometimes I am still learning. I pray the same for you!

I think this video was personally made for me , I have been so so Lazy since forever I’m a procrastinator and I try so hard to do stuff but get distracted and do something else, but then everything becomes overwhelming so I just do nothing . Hey, Sister. I agree we should pray against laziness, however, there's no such thing as "a spirit of laziness", according to Bible. There's the sinful flesh, and one of the sins of the flesh is laziness. We are all born pre-disposed to laziness because of Adam's sin. We choose to be lazy based on our flesh, as opposed to a spirit coming over us causing us to be lazy.

You are so right! Thanks for sharing this, I found my self procrastinating and always feeling tired, God showed me I was under an evil oppression. After praying about it, God set me free from that. Now I´m working on new habits for better time management.

😭...I went to the adoration room last light (I'm a Catholic) at the chapel and I pleaded with God in tears to show me the way. I told him I don't know why I know everything I'm supposed to do to attain all the purposes he's given to me yet I don't do anything, I just sleep on all the ideas he gives to me. He has made me so creative and all the time I fear I might render this ability useless because I never pursue any of them. I'm all talk talk talk with no action. This morning I went for 6:00 am, mass, almost late and of cuz I came back to sleep till almost 11:00 am, just cuz I woke up "too early" for mass. At mass, I told God to give me the spirit of discipline so that I will do the things I know I should do. Right now I just woke, went to the kitchen to grab some food, and then took my phone to waste more time of course. I immediately opened CZcams and the first thing I see is your video. On a normal day I will or may put it to watch later and never watch it or it's just that I may end up watching it later but with little to no enthusiasm at all, by so doing I lose the essence of the video, I see it as just one of those motivational videos you watch and just move on.
This time I clicked the second I saw it, and I listened to everything you said with attention whiles eating. I agree with you that LAZINESS IS DEMONIC 😭😭...I'm literally in tears right now cuz there is just so much I could do if only I push through with my potentials but I never do. It's a LID ON ME, I agree, it's covering up everything I could do or could be. This video is really God's answer to my prayers from yesterday. I want to say this video "has changed my life" but how can I boast of that when I haven't even put everything you've said into practice and I'm afraid I might not even do it after I try for a week or so. I'm so scared of losing on the purposes of God for my life because I never pursue things he's freely shown me to do.
Everything you've said is so true, so so true...and I know there is no way you're speaking on your own accord, I know the for sure the holy spirit is the one behind your thought and word of choice. From here I will take my bible and jot down all the quotations you've mentioned. God please help me read them😭😭...take away this demon from me😭😭...take away this lid from my life. I hate feeling like I could do so much yet I have nothing to show because I never take on any ambition. I leave them by the door and start trying to find another one, and eventually leave that too non-pursued. I have so much opportunities Thanks to Grace of God yet I don't know how to utilize them. All I do is sleep, sleep, sleep, social media non stop,eat non stop, and sluggish. I've a research assignment that has been given to my colleagues and I for more than 2-weeks now and not a single day have I looked at it. The habit is, I will do it at the 11th hour, when we're called to report our work in a day time, I will rush through the work😭😭😭...and do underhanded job. I do things HASTILY too just like you mentioned. Everything you've said and read from the bible is like reading me.

Hi Ella, I totally agree with what you just said because it’s easy to tell yourself that you’re going to do something but end up not being productive at all. And I’m working on it myself. But I believe through the Holy Spirit, nothing is impossible. I have in my heart to tell you that in order to find God, it’s a personal journey that is only found through Jesus Christ and Him alone. As it’s known, religion doesn’t save only JESUS does and it’s all about the relationship with Him that someone can have access to God. Sincerely come to Jesus wherever you are and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal Himself to you and show you if you’re on the right path and God will reveal everything He wants you to know and help you with productivity . I love psalm 25, which adresses it. God bless you!

Also Fast. Fasting is soo Powerful. I swear by Fasting. Sometimes just play worship music. Just sing.
And dont be afraid to Be honest with God. That's what I did today. Tell Him Everything.

Hi Ella, what you are describing is classic ADHD. I have recently self diagnosed myself after years of suffering same as you!! Right now I'm in the process of getting a therapist so that I can get an assessment and official diagnosis. What you have described is the same issues I'm plagued with: time blindness, scattered attention and executive function disorder. Everything you have described is ADHD (inattentive). I am a 35 year old Black woman married with child and it took me half my life to come to this realization because I never knew that adult ADHD is a thing. Ella, it is not your fault. It is a hormonal imbalance that has made our minds crave dopamine and engagement. It's also the secret to your creativity, it can never deplete. Please research ADHD and the productivity tips that are tailored to specifically help people like us. I hope this comment finds you well and you are able to find the strength to help yourself armed with fuller knowedge of what is plaguing you. Better yet if you could get access to cognitive behavioural therapy like I am trying to do!! Best of luck to you dear!

I am so happy I saw this video! I have been struggling with this too much. I would wake up around 1pm, go the gym and then go to work come back scroll on my phone and go to sleep, it’s a cycle I had even stopped going to the gym because I felt lazy or “tired”, I am so afraid of poverty and I knew that I would be further in life if I broke that sin, because I would get more things done in life and actually start to feel successful, sometimes my depression gets in the way, but I no longer want to be that person. But I've started to pray that God teaches me to number my days so that I may obtain wisdom... so in the morning I pray & then I plan out what I need to do for the day, even if I get one thing accomplished I am happy knowing that I didn't just lay in the bed dealing with morning/all day sickness lol

Thank you! Something that comes to mind is that we are slaves to the world as long as we are not slaves to God, so when we turn our hearts to God and decide to be obedient to His will instead of ours, we aren’t slaves to this world anymore!

The Lord has been telling me to stop thinking too much because I have thought everything and anything about the things I need to do. He urges me to just do it. Just do it. I already know what I should do because I have thought about any and all angles I could. He wants me to now actually put it into action.
