Hi there. Your videos are very informative and interesting. I love your way of explaining and thank you for sharing your knowledge so freely! Maybe you can help me: I have an 80 series Land Cruiser 4500 straight 6. Standard Aisan carb. It pulls very well with no flat spots, idles beautifully, revs cleanly, does everything right. But if you drive down a very slight downhill and have to open the throttle ever so slightly to keep the speed at around 60km/h, if you then push the throttle a bit harder to go a bit faster I have a momentary flat spot before it pulls well again. Almost like the APJ doesn't provide quite enough fuel for that first instant for that little bit of extra throttle opening. I've checked for vacuum leaks and removed any suspect fittings, I've replaced all the vacuum pipes and made sure all the dashpots work as they should. I'm all out of ideas now. Anything I may be missing? Thanks again!

I might also add that my APJ system is different to the one in your video by having a spring and a little weight on top of the large ball bearing, thus between the ball bearing and the gasket. The plunger and small bearing setup is exactly like in your video...perhaps the spring and weight on top of the large ball bearing is making the system spray too little fuel in cases where only a little bit of APJ is required?
