In 48 years of owning ONE FJ-40 I only used chevy carbs. In fact the only 1965 parts left are frame, axle housings, axles(4) knuckles and arms; oh yeah, steering wheel and half of shaft. Joke is, rest drivetrain has only 30k miles, 1979 steeriing!
