I'll take click bait over spoilers
Best comment. And these guys were really nice and professional despite the initial lighthearted setback (and the clickbait title)
Yeah some spoilers say what dragons are investing so I'm already like well its a good product and buisness and they got offers sooooo I don't really need to watch cause I already know it's good.
@@raw_riot_6917 It’s like The Voice social media saying in the title they all turned for the act.
😂😂😂❤
I'd agree, but you never know what click bait it is lol
Touker: “I’m not gonna give the whole spiel on what I can do... distribution... marketing... sourcing... you name it, I can do it!” 🤣🤣🤣
You forgot office space 😂
Touks was waiting for this opportunity (to state this)..
unfortunately there was still no deal :(
I was waiting for baby market line just because 😂
I remember in the early days of Dragons Den any guy who didn't turn up in a suit getting completely roasted by Peter and now they breeze in in t shirts and he doesn't blink.
I wonder if it's a change in our culture or the show
"Back in my day" 💤
@@ses694I think it was the rise of the internet business scene. Innovators would give presentations and pitches for million dollar tech ideas dressed like homeless people😂

So nice to see Teddy dressed for success with a clean undershirt.
Nice and minimalist. I would probably suggest he go with something more fitted though
White t-shirt and sweatpants? What an impression.
@@todd-makes-videos if only he'd gone with the *GREY SWEATPANTS* he'd succeed at every pitch 👀🥒❤️
I bet Peter hated it so much
Look at pitches from the early days and jones used to scold people for not wearing suits, now people are turning up on this show in pyjamas and he doesn’t say anything to them
Steven: "Where did you get a quarter of a million dollars?"
25yo: "I knew I had to save up" - translation: from daddy.
If they worked in finance then they will have been earning big figures.
:p
@@BenjaminGooseIf they graduated university at 21 like everyone else then absolutely not. Graduate jobs do not pay.
@@lukemwill99American jobs in finance absolutely do. Grads can earn 100k+ starting lol.
@@cfzcfz So, you're saying that they are so many job placements in the US in the financial sector that the hire every graduate with a 100k salary?
Steven Bartlett stated on his podcast last year that Perfect Ted was one of his favourite deals in the den..
He even revealed that the company has boasted hundreds of thousands in sales every month since appearing on the show, compared to 9,000 before.. so a huge success! 👍
There is a difference between what Bartlett says and the truth
@@johnchapmonkey8933 And you would know that? 🤷🏻♀️
@@pimpozzahe's already been caught out lying about how much his company was worth
@@pimpozzaIts common knowledge.
Unfortunarely there are always many cases of "the green eyed monster" when it comes to Steven. Some people in the comments just can't get over how young and highly successful he is! Good for him!
I love it when people have the idea to replace caffeinated beverages with a different caffeinated beverage. Geniuuuus
wooosh
where im from in california yerba matte blew up here in sonoma county and is now a billion dollar industry it can be done. every heard of the yellow can yerba matte it started in sebastopol a small farming town where im from and is now world wide
@@startingtech3900 cool I"m just saying you're not "replacing caffeine" if your beverage is just caffeine.
Sounds like Merisa graduated from the Elizabeth Holmes school of speech.
Except she's selling caffeine instead of blood
I bought this stuff two weeks ago. Wouldn't say it's disgusting but definitely wouldn't buy it again
Well did it energize you?
Once i drink it for pre-work out i hit 405 LBR Bench easy for 10 reps , it works fellows
@@panos7906it’s only 80mg of caffeine, I can’t image it helping me more than a black coffee or preworkout for the gym.
@@CabbageYe no 😂
Where did you get it from ? I wanna give it a shot. I know there is a Polish brand that already does this same product and it was lovely
Peter never questioned the young lads casual dressing
It highlights the woman being in charge. I doubt it was a mistake to dress down well the female dressed business formal.
Especially since he did oh most all the talking i feel like she might only be in charge by name.
"How are we doing today" the cringiest way to start a conversation.
what do you mean? it's the perfect way

Oh yeah😂, like.. read the room . ITS DD not Shark Tank

I love looking at Touker's face when he tastes things. 😂
Placebo is the trend ☝️
Yeah.
Also taking advtange of the mental health crisis is in trend.
Yeah, I like snake venom and elephant dung with my matcha.
Placebo has been working for coffee for decades.
Caffeine is no placebo

Jealousy is a serious disease.
Saw this in my local little Tesco and was intrigued to try it.

This story reminds me of the Foodie Bollocks strip in Viz. Next week they'll have a pop up stall at Borough Market.
Teddy is 100% trying to 🦴 his business partner 😂
😂
😂
U really think he hasn't slipped it in 3 or 4 times already?

I get the feeling they first met when Teddy was caught sniffing her seat after class.
More like 🦴ing her while she was black out drunk at her local frat party house 😂
Which seat? Could you point out which one? Specifically which one?
A great team they do really well good luck to them all.
notice he didnt actually say where the quarter of a mil investement came from. Bank of mum and dad perhaps!!?
What do you expect him to say "I'm jewish, so go figure|??
yeah goto the wall, maybe you could paint it while you're there
Deborah asked her what makes her drink stand out and she proceeded to talk BS for 30 seconds, inserting several biz words. To which, Deborah replied 'Fantastic answer.'.
No she answered that it appeals to a different market. Kombucha is more for the gut health market and she said that's not who they're selling to
Can't believe Peter didn't roast him for wearing a t-shirt and trainers
is not coffe, is tea
BRILLIANT
nice to see Grove Street Families still alive and kickin'
You can always tell the deranged by their bizarre convulsions before they even enter the Den.
Hopped up on more then matcha.
he must have -drank- a lot of coke.

Amazing product I would love to buy some. No other cold matcha drinks in a can like there is iced coffee. Wow they will do well 💸
At 4:26 World domination.. Really.. Nothin like having an abundance of confidence to get a loan..
There’s more caffeine in matcha than in coffee!
Smart choice of dragons.
I have seen this drink in tescos for the first time a day after watching this video
Caffeine does not work on people with ADHD? What is she talking about?
Teddy laughs like Zed from Police Academy. Congrats
So inspiring.
that dude is deeeeeeeeeep in the friendzone
Chief ENERGY Officer. Brilliant.
I rolled my eyes tbh.
Cringy
Nah
No just no.
Steven has that Peter pull!!
Doesn't matcha contain MASSOVE amounts ocoffeine? Its why i dont drink it 😮😅
Did this guy come to a business meeting wearing his pajamas?
I’m sure Teddy will help her get through the long study days 😂
2:03 Antioxidants? Does he even know what an antioxidants is?
U saying matcha doesn't have antioxidants just to be clear?
They do get rid of cancer creating antitoxidants
@@MF_JONES No.
Love Sarah' s spontaneous answer about her local milk.❤
This sounds really good flavour wise. I would buy it - had a matcha lime lemonade in South America - it was delicious. The fruit flavours and citrus cut through the matcha and I like imagining I’m drinking swamp water.
Next two steps:
Learn what was the journey for Matcha before this Dragon's Den episode and the Journey after the episode.
You see, success doesn't get formulated on its own, it needs to be crafted, so learning from journey more important.
What's with the title? Well this was the last time I watch this then... nexf
I’ve seen these everywhere so they must be doing ok
That smacked Deborah 😂
I won't be buying the stuff. They sell it in Holland&Barrett for £1.99 a can, pretty pricey for a cold drink
£1.99 is decent ya cheapskate
@@Farquad76.547depends, iced coffee in aldi is 60p and provides more of a kick, so yeah I agree I’d pay £2 but still competitively priced it’s average
$1.99 for a drink sounds about right.
@@TinyDancerO£1.99 = $2.53 at todays rates
@@TinyDancerOIt’s pounds, not dollars
I see them in Tesco and those drinks are delicious
Energy drink for a house hold brand ?
In the opening dialog it was said it could replace coffee. NOTHING will replace coffee, everyone that drinks it loves it.
These guys are GREAT! But i wonder how will they fare if they had pitched to the Dragons at Dragon's Den Canada. Among all the Dragon Den's versions and seasons i have watched, Mr. Wonderful from Dragon's Den Canada and now Shark Tank USA is the hardest to please!
This is the sort of business where if matcha actually takes off, the big drinks operators, who have infinitely more resources and expertise, will just launch their own versions and take their lunch
So that's where Steve Bartlett got his Huel idea from ..... 🤔
This has got to be the best ever dragons den episode on youtube
Nah
EXCELLENT HE DONE WELL,
Long study days at university? 😂😂😂😂😂
Wow. Didn’t say a word about carbon footprint.
they dont care about that. or even where the Match came from. theirs lots of different quality Matcha, including the rubbish that comes from China thats currently flooding eBay...
'drinks secctorrrrrrrr'
Vocal fry for dayyyyyyys!
You forgot the question mark at the end 🤣
EPIC! Well done!
i don't why this new batch of young entrepreneurs feel the need to open with a mention of their ADHD, Autism or other conditions. It's not 'Britains Got Talent'.
Diversity/oppression points.
tell me about it, I was at a concert and this new fangled band came on stage, I couldn't see them properly but I'm assuming they were another bunch of young punks and then the screen lit up to tell us all their disability and it said something like ACDC I just cringed I won't be seeing them again
Victim mentally
Ay if you’re on TV mention every dead relative you can and every illness even if it’s arthritis 😂
it's important to the story of there brand?
Deborah and Peter should have got this one
🤡 🤡 🤡
They had the deal in their hands, should've negiotated 3.5% each for 25k..
'energy' drinks are not to be consumed
That drink worked😅😅
Will it replace the high grade cocaine I’m used to? 🧐
I actually really love the taste of these drinks. Might become a convert even 😊
In the old days Peter would destroy him for that outfit
Times change. Covid made a lot us realise that dismissing someone just because they’re not wearing a suit and tie is dumb. It’s not 1940 anymore.
oh Teddy
Russ Cook would be proud!
The disingenuous clickbait title really stinks.
Holland and Boring, Planet yawnganic… Their shelves must be stacked with 3 cans of each product that have been in the Den. I don’t take away from the achievement of getting into the high street but if everyone is doing it then it dilutes its selling point, the dragons also haven’t invested in many of them
there in sainsburys i seen it in there.
Just to let you know “touka’s out”
Peters just doing this for fun
Nothing is ever going to replace coffee. Tea has been around for centuries, it's a popular drink. But it's not coffee and it never will be. There are countries were they drink more tea than coffee but that's traditional tea. A canned tea won't replace coffee and their feels like an energy juice with tea, which might have its audience but it won't replace coffee.
They didn't say they would replace coffee. They said it's for people who get jitters, crashes, or exacerbated anxiety from coffee. A tiny fraction of the coffee market would make them millions
@@MF_JONES Those people already drink something else, though. It's not a free space. They are up against other teas, energy drinks, juices, soft drinks. The beverage industry is massive but also incredibly crowded.
@@hellegennes I didn't say it was a free space. But it's not so crowded that they can't compete. That's pretty obvious don't you think
@@MF_JONES Time will tell, but I don't think they'll go anywhere.
It's too expensive and I will never stop drinking Coffee. Plus Matcha is green tea anyway.
They should have asked for a 5 way...10k for 2% each damn
Tea provides only slightly more energy than plain water.
Not if you put milk & sugar in it.
Matcha is usually 75% of the caffeine of a cup of coffee.
Standard green tea or black tea does, but this drink contains matcha which is 70-80% the amount of caffeine that coffee has
What socks is Peter wearing tho wow
Peter knows their parents
Really good pitch! Good luck to them 😊
Dragons' Den has become a circlejerk.
Aye.
It always was
Just coffe and green tea for me
I would have gone with Peter at 10%
Replace coffee!? And the world said “I’m out” 😂
I need this.
Oh damn I know they’re doing well
But you haven’t alienated me! Another show and I’m in!
Damn, Marissa and Teddy are great personalities and representatives, especially brand ambassadors, for their company, which is about spreading positive energy. Ted having invested in companies at only 25 is amazing. Marissa is a breath of fresh air compared to other people of our age group. They come across confident, something I wouldn't be able to do.
