Praise Break! The Faith Tabernacle Way
Thanks to my sister and one of my favorite song leaders, Lorene Williams Ammonds for posting this video. The song that she's leading is penned by Pastor Van Dyke Freeman and was one of the songs that did not make it on this cd because we had recorded so many songs that night. In addition, there was another song entitled, Lord, Show Us Your Glory lead by two phenomenal vocalists namely, songwriter musician and pastor Bishop Charles Lyles of Atlantic City, NJ and phenomenal songwriter musician and vocalist Becky White.
and Elvis, that is Maurice and Tina in the corner! LOL I am the unsung producer and songwriter of this phenomenal project! We wanted our first cd to be churchy choir music, but we had much much more. Contemporary to da umps degree but with a balance! I thank God for Bishop Brown allowing God to use me in my lane almost 100%. lol
This project lost in the shuffle because Bishop Brown wouldn't heed my suggesting him to leave his two songs namely, 'Enjoying Jesus' and 'Drive Ole Satan Away' on our CD so that people can connect the dots! This cd was misrepresented on radio stations across the states announcing that we were from different cities like Philadelphia, Chicago and couple others.
April 23, 2019 will be 25 years since we recorded this production and we had a whole lot of other music to share. But you know how people are. God will still get the glory! Thanks to Pastor Van D. Freeman for penning Spend Some Time with Jesus and to Bishop Ronald E. Brown for penning I've Made My Decisions. There is a lot more to this story that needs to be shared in light of production.
This church and ministry was the ultimate pentecostal spirited church that Bishop Brown introduced so many ministries and those that visited frequently namely, Bishop Hezekiah Walker, Donald Lawrence, Commisioned, Vickie Winans, the John Howard Caravans, Bishop Donnie Graves, Pastor John P. See, Bishop Kervy Brown, The Pace Sisters, and of course The late Dr. Mattie Moss Clark and the Clark Sisters, Names Moore and a whole lot more. Im not even gonna start naming the ministries, but I must state, the late Elsie Shaw, Bishop FD Washington, Bishop Noel Jones, Evangelist Dorinda Clark traveled with SUM Ministries, Pat McKinstry, just so many. Ok that's all folks for now!
I attended Faith Tabernacle from age 12-19. My godmother was the late Mother Dorothy Forrest. My uncle Deacon John Hamilton played trumpet in choir Iwas in choir 4 yrs from Charleston along w my childhood friend Rita Willis. Those were thw best of times. Bro. Van, Godmommy Carleen, Sister Laura , Grammy Ida, Brother George, Jeannette, Francine , Althea, Emily, Randolph, Mother Olamae. Those days of churchin were for real holiness knowing God . It has taken me in the Navy shapes shaped me into whom I am. My family The Brannum-Riley-White-Livingston-Hamilton's. I cannot ever forget my sister Benita getting saved under this ministry as well our dear godbrother Pastor Daniel Henderson. I pray that we can have a reunion choir to Give God The Glory for this ministry that continues to leave a legacy of Holiness .

I purchased this project on iTunes and it is awesome!!! I haven’t stopped listening to it since I purchased it. My 3 favorite songs are Selling Out, Throw It Down , and Spend some time with Jesus. Also, those 3 songs that weren’t recorded were so awesome especially that song Lord Show Us Your Glory. This is the kind of church I grew up on where it was churchy and the church choir ministered in song on the regular.🙌🏾 I also had no idea that Bishop Brown was the pastor of FTDT, my mom purchased Bishop Brown’s very first project of him singing old songs of the church. At that time , I didn’t know the name of his church or church choir , but just from that first project hearing the choir and the band , I knew that was a bad music ministry right there 🙌🏾 that project Bishop Brown was on was so good I used to listen to it all the time .

Yes since 1981 the churchs have aloud the world to come in and get positions and have given their advice on several things thats pleasing to the world and now today in 2020 god has shook the churchs down or havinh less than 30 attending. The world is still of evil and the churchs are not standing up in the church
