Paul I always wondered about ANA so thanks for the video.Simply I liked what I saw."Yes"I would try ANA if traveling to Japan.There is talk ANA will begin direct service from Perth to Haneda 4 times a week in 2019. Fingers crossed this will eventuate.

My mum was a ground crew attendant for Cathay and ANA when I was young, and I remember whenever we would fly, the flight attendants would always bring us extra kids toys and snacks even though we were down in economy. Once, the pilot turned down his fancy dinner so they brought it to my brother, who had been sad that he hadn't been able to wave at the pilot and co-pilot during boarding! I always have such good associations with Japanese airlines.

Thanks for referring me to this video, Paul :) I love the frown at 6:29 LOL! In early 2017 I flew MNL-HND on PR and then HND-MSP on DL and I had Skyteam Elite Plus status at that time, but HND had absolutely no Skyteam-friendly lounges near my outbound terminal. I plan on doing some domestic US inflights aboard either American's or United's 787. Fantastic video - now I want some sushi with Vegemite!

Another excellent video Paul. That was really cool how the RR engine opened up in the middle on landing and then closed again soon after. I suppose it might have something to do with going into reverse on landing but I really don't know. (ANAamenitykit)

Thanks Joe. Most of my flights are booked with either points or cheap fares booked through bizarre routes so I wouldn't really know what the normal prices are. :)

Haneda is a great airport: minutesfrom central Tokyo on the monorail, convenient international terminal. And that shower in the ANA biz lounge is clean, well stocked, and beautiful. Yes, I would also fly ANA business class on my next flight to Japan.(ANAamenitykit)

Glad you enjoyed and as I stated before, they are a wonderful airline and ground service also amazing especially if something goes wrong or you need assistance and great support on their redemption programme, even calling me in Australia to see if I got the refund of 1000 yen, that's right 13aud. So kind. Qantas owes me 1700aud from 3 years ago and still mucking around. NH would be very apologetic. Anyway have safe travels and enjoyment. Look forward to your next trip.

The cabin looks impressive. I think an airline is only good if it offers direct aisle access in business class long haul to all passengers. I've had enough bad experience sitting next to people with no manners in business class that it takes away from anything that is good with the service. Thanks for another great vidéo! (ANAamenitykit)

How lucky are u to see the 787 often, that is my most favourite modern airliner of all time, I have never sat in one before, but as the aspiring pilot I am, I will do anything to fly it

Hi Paul, nice review, short question: you mentioned you have 10 hour layover @ Haneda Airport??? That’s crazy long!!
Actually, I also have a similar scenario at Haneda. Where I have 8 hour layover @ Haneda. I booked ANA business class, could I check in 10 hours prior to Departure? What if you have checked luggage?
I flew into HND on the same ticket so my bags were checked through to SYD in Istanbul. Having said that, I'm sure you can checkin early as most airlines allow this as their home port.
Paul Stewart wait I thought you were on LH instead of NH to Haneda.... my first flight is from PEK-HND on Air China, then HND-YVR on ANA.
Yep, LH for IST-FRA-HND and then ANA down to SYD. It was all booked on the same ticket so I got my ANA boarding pass in IST.
Quick question. For those "aisle" seats, wouldn't you likely get hit by passers by (unintentionally of course)? Great video as always (ANAamenitykit)

I have been at that lounge 45 times and love it and the service and the F lounge has beautiful home made rissoles with gravy. So funny. When I had accident in China the service from DLC to connect was amazing and even had 2 people to assist(not needed) and also booked a disabled toilet and shower for me and asked did I need a nurse to assist (not needed). Truly amazing and I was a points J ticket redemption usually 1/3 less points for J than QF and less surcharges ,like 75 percent less than QF one world. They are doing well in Syd but doubt they will go to PER due to scheduling/turnarounds. They still make money with 789 sitting in SYD all day (4 years planning on that one). ps Im independent and not in industry and pay my own way 40 years

Hi Alan, I must admit that I'm not sure about non-alcoholic wines or beers. Did you spot any in the menus at the end of the video? I doubt they would to be honest.
