An in-depth look into the installation process of Gravity and Grace: Monumental Works by El Anatsui at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego’s downtown location. Gravity and Grace highlights the artist’s most recent work and features 11 monumental metal wall and floor sculptures widely considered to represent the apex of El Anatsui’s career, filling MCASD Downtown’s 10,000-square feet of gallery space with the largest piece spanning 35 feet.
