Christopher Cozier Artist Talk
On Free Third Thursday, April 18, Christopher Cozier delivered an artist talk at MCASD. Presented in partnership with the Humanities Center at the University of San Diego.
Cozier is an artist featured in our newest special exhibition "Forecast Form: Art in the Caribbean Diaspora, 1990s-Today," on view through July 28. His work as an artist, writer, and curator aims to explore and affect conventional readings of the Caribbean, revealing alternative narratives and interpretations. Investigating the relationship between contemporary and historical conditions in his drawing, prints and installations, Cozier often sets up actions in response to new places and enlists mundane everyday objects along the way.

awesome
Was this problems with the city.
I thought maybe this was near completion - how long has this been going on??
Interesting footage. Thanks for this. It progresses from how I like to discover a building or garden , or work of art or life for that matter, from different points of reference. Selldorf has done a great job of leading us into the future which I think is the purpose of a contemporary art museum. Lia Lund
Great video! So exciting to see it coming to life!
Amazing how a piece of art, has made a relationship with people within a town, working together. Love it.
Thank you, Katie. It’s been an honor to have had you as a teacher , and to see what you’ve been working on.
This was a lot of fun. It did keep us together:)

True comment. Art Plagiarism has no place in a Museum of Art.
