    I have little to no experience in this.
    Me too... Hard to watch. No hammer? No explosives? Putting a lot of stress on that dozer blade and arms.
    None the less... Im jealous.. Wish i was there having that job

    I've never seen a Volvo sweat, but props for not beating the pins out of that 750; however watching that 375 made my back hurt.

      In the day they abuse the equipment and in the night the mechanics fix all the bearings and cracks. No warranty on these machines

    How much deeper did they have to go? That is tough because there isn't enough rock to blast, but just enough of a pain to have to remove them. It is something you just have to take your time on.

    this very hard use needs a very short service interval afterwards. bearings and seals must be worn down extremely fast. never seen modern expensive machines this hard in move

    There must be a reason they don't use explosives! You don't see, what is near this construction site. They are not doing that just for fun. Some environmental or regulatory issue must dictate this procedure.

    Too huge and heavy stones, i think here needed more heavy machinery, d475, d11 and large hydraulic excavators, something like liebherr r9200, or use TNT before and use this vehicle

    I'd be unhappy with the amount of production vs the cost of running those 2 machines, I'd either park the 375 or put it to work on another section, the Volvo needs to spend some time on the bench with a hammer on, there wrecking the equipment for very little m3 per hour.

      Depends on the rate they have on it to do it, they might have real good money on it and they could be making a killing on it or it all could be on hourly rates, who would know.

    I working in quarry,usually 2 days drilling,half day to filling the xplosion into the holes,wiring on,and press the red button,and 30-35 000tons of rock is loose,ready to feeding into the crusher,very little oversize rock left in it,to breaking.
    What is the reason to doing this way,ayone knows it?

      in certain circumstances oil and grease can't be used because oil and dirt becomes a grinding paste and makes the problem worse.

      @@bladerunner6354 got to agree with you bro. I saw $2.65 mil being abused. A 3" rotary drill and about 1,000-1200 lbs ammonium nitrate with primers caps and det cord would save that equipment from abuse.
