I tip my hat to this operator - despite the worn down grousers, there is almost not track slippage in this challenging material. And one of the best demontrations of the power of a D11 I ever saw
So Cal Earthmoving is without a doubt the class of the heavy construction videos on CZcams. Thanks for your hard work on preparing these videos. It is obvious you take the time and effort to bring us the best angles and edits.
@@SoCalEarthMovers All the best in future videos. Any ideas for your next? Would like to see either the 6015B or the CAT Graders in the job. Thanks again.
The open cab dozer looks cool. The type of operations are fun to watch. Especially when we see a multitude of vehicles working in concert with one another. Excellent video with awesome sound.🔧
Very smooth & tight operation , no wasted movement, plus max load in bucket every time. Excellent video as well - must have been a bit dusty capturing it all.
Great camera angle, this way we get to see all of what's going on here. This is a really great video. I could watch these all day..( well, I do have to go to lunch !! )
nice vid of some nice kit, one thing though, I reckon the loader needs a clean-up dozer alongside, he does seem to spill a bit! oh and at about 6.30, watch the 75 pound rock bounce out of the hauler and go about 20 feet, a claer reason NOT to get too close to operating machines.
The guy in the cabriolet should be on double the wages. He’s got no warmth/chiller He’s got no music He’s got to have bath every night Great video And well done to the operators quality/smooth 🤝
good stuff no wasted movement guy on open cab still working his way up to tractor with all the essentials worn tracks still have good traction get the most out of them till full track overhaul cool smooth operation good team work the gear last longer..Cut my teeth on open cab dozers loved the smells noises youre senses picked up any problems sooner haha the luxuries are good thow...
Smooth ..dang sure saves tires and wear on loader and quick also. Have used this method myself just never heard it called 'trap" Thank you always great vids .
Great stuff as always Ken. I notice the D11 has a cab mounted GPS, in some of your more recent photos, they put the GPS back on the blade (I believe it is the same unit). Did they find the cab antenna didn't work as well or just knew that they wouldn't be safe on the blade in all that rock?

The tracks on that D11 look all worn out and loose.Stone really eats them up ,expensive job. The other machine still has like new growsers on the tracks ,is it new to the job.
i was wondering about the track tension on the machines.. some seem to have a lot of slack... some seem to be tight.. i would think that slack track adjustments would cause more wear on the track pins and drive sprocket segments because the track is ramping up and down the faces of the sprocket more than with a tighter tension adjustment. i understand its just a grease gun pumping grease into the track adjuster pistons. so it should not take a lot to keep them tighter..
It could be that they are slack because they're working in a lot of rock. Too tight and track wear would be increased. That's what we did a few years ago, but we didn't have D11's .
But don't you think rock is needed for ballast in road building, concrete and asphalt mixing etc. etc. ? I know that rock is hell on equipment with track and tire wear. Not to mention every part that comes in contact with rock. Wear must be very high on this site .

It isn't a black tie event
The thing I love about these videos from Socal, is that all the operators are excellent and everybody knows exactly what they are doing.
The dozer guy knows when loader guy needs help filling his bucket
Impressive isn't a good enough word
Very smooth & tight operation , no wasted movement, plus max load in bucket every time. Excellent video as well - must have been a bit dusty capturing it all.
Always appreciate a good Loader Op.

Great video. This type of operation with the dozer above the face feeding the loader is called trapping. Great to watch.
Some of the best if not the best Heavy Equipment videos found on You-Tube. Excellent sound capture !
Thank you MacAndrew!
Doesn't spin a tire
All good! Camera work, and above all, team work. Loader, dozers and dump truck drivers working together for maximum efficiency.
Perfect cadence between the dozer and the loader. Mesmerizing and therapeutic.
The man operating the wheel loader is showing us how it should be done.He is so smooth, no wasted moves or time.. Excellent
The grouser wear says it all! Great camera angle, great video.👍
Hot Damn! Three pass load out in just under 60 seconds - every bucket 190%, every truck 100%. These people know how to move dirt/rock,
D-11 is such a beast. Really enjoy watching the 11s really pushing.
Шикарное видео и совместная работа 👍👍👌
Nice teamwork between the dozer and loader. Good video!
شكرا شكرا شكرا لك على هذا الفديو الرائع و الجميل والمميز شكرا لك يا صديقي العزيز
It's fun to watch, good work
These guys know they can make Iron and power do something
Tracks are beat on that beast
sure is a efficient / effective way of giving the loader full buckets every time.
Great Video.
Nice to see em getting their money's worth from the tracks on that first 11.
Better off running like this with course material
Nunca tinha visto tanto sincronismo ! The best sound capture..

Шикарно! Вот это тандем! И производительность!!!
That was great team work. Well done as usual. :)
Very nice shots!! I like this miningstrategie very much !!
The guy in the cabriolet should be on double the wages.

Great video
And well done to the operators quality/smooth 🤝
And gets a good check every week
Looks like its about due for new grousers. How long do they last in this type of material? Nice vid
Looks like the ol girl could use some new shoes!!😂
Great equipment with great operators that show some skiled teamwork
Teamwork makes the DreamWork👍✔️😎
Damn, those tracks are worn down to nubs.
Guy on that loader is good look at the clearance
Another great video from you, great quality and great operators. It´s a fun to see this :-)
Thank you!
No partisanship it is witnessing accomplishment
Uno spettacolo! ❤
That 992 is smokin hot!

AWESOME SAUCE! one of my favorite dozers of all time is the d11t!
Cat330DL_Man tracks are loose too

Wow, what an extremely efficient process and timing!

Awesome job!!!
Smooth ..dang sure saves tires and wear on loader and quick also. Have used this method myself just never heard it called 'trap" Thank you always great vids .
ive done it with coal. d11 and a 1200 komatsu cleaning up the last bit of coal id sweep it up to him
tires on the 990 are taking a beating with all that spillage.
OMG I would love to run that open cab tractor!!!
Paul Pence No you wouldn’t
Impresionante, un saludo
Another good one..... You ARE good...!
Very cool!!!
Please rename or repost this under Trap Loading. I think this is far more efficient than HEX loading bank rock into trucks. very good video!
That d11 is a such a nice piece of machinery
Nice video!!
Класс, просто охренеть, аппарат огонь!

Need one of these to plow my driveway in the winter.
Zulueta en parranda
This D11T really needs some new tracks very soon.. They are completely worn out!
The pads on that 11T look pretty worn out. as usual, great video!
I have an awesome one/16 scale model of that Caterpillar dealer 11 tea made by brooder
Reminded me Fred Flintstone.
Brotosaurus Sandwich for lunch.
Cat heaven....

Good Video SoCal...
Someone tell Myron Sukut to get some new tracks on that D11. I’ve never seen grousers so small. The rollers are probably square by now.
good high production video..
!!your cam is gooood
When the $$$$$$ is not an issue there is the real machinery to do the job more efficiently
I bet he's not impressed in that open cab dozer
Hi! Thanks for all these beautiful videos! I was just wondering how you get access to these operations... I guess you know the contractor... Thanks!
Very good content
Very Nice 💪💪🤝🤝
Great team work, bet there shattered at the end of the shift
very nice
All this video needs is some heavy rock playing in the background but not so high that you can't hear the machines
Very good worker
Sweet vide!!o
The d10 looks like it is pushing more than the D11. Is it the tracks? 3 Pass loading, someone is getting it right anyways.
No its your imagination.
Me encanta ese trabajo
Great video. It's obvious these guys know their business. Where in CA was this and who was the contractor?
Thank you. This was down in Escondido, Sukut Construction was the contractor.
+SoCalEarthMovers Was gonna say, this looks like Escondido/San Marcos/Vista area.
When do the drivers get time to scratch their arse ?
Así se trabaja un tractor muy bien
Wonder why they quit making cable equipment
Caterpillar la forza unica.
Tracks on the 11T look worn down
Gud land bilding is sapiler work...
Muy bueno el operador del payloader (cargador frontal)cargando a lo corto a veses el trabajo lo exije y la tambie n lamaquina responde saludos colega
whats the idea behind the high track? love the way it looks but other than that I have no idea why they go with it.
It gets the final drive higher off the ground, reducing wear

Less wear on sprocket yes. Also improved traction factor.
can;t beat cat equiptment

Apaixonado por maquinas pesadas
That D11 needs new pads badly
Probably about 50 grand
Yes--and that kind of action there will grind off a new set fairly fast too compared to plain old dirt work.
Bet the rails are shot too.
Самый отличный бульдозер в мире
The Rock's where the tracks Faster wear and tear
amo esas maquinas
This dozer doesn't look to have enough hours on it to wear a set of pads like that. Is that material that abrasive? Or am I missing something?
No, you've seen it all
The tracks on that D11 look all worn out and loose.Stone really eats them up ,expensive job.
The other machine still has like new growsers on the tracks ,is it new to the job.
I can smell it!!
Poor shover don't even have cab doing good job though

Wear must be very high on this site .
Let me rephrase. Big rocks suck
D10N = D9L ???
