star wars - definitely a joke, stargate, im not entirely sure but i think so. in another tour he identified LAATs without labeling so im sure hes just messing with us.

I like the Taiidan colour scheme, but it is very cheese-like.

(ISS) Grids was fighting each other, even though both were on if I welded one it force it to drop or spin, next time I print a new one I'll have it as one grid

I love the idea of the recessed weapons. Going to start incorporating those into my own builds, even though I play single player exclusively. I played Eve Online for about 10 years, I've had my fill of griefers for one lifetime.

The Astartes Battle Barge was a nice touch, including the cargo hauler (thunder hawk would have been even cooler but hey cargo is important)

Key facilities next to bedrooms are quite common in the military. Captains bedroom is always right off the bridge so he can get there in seconds or very trained personal can get their systems back online after an incident or emergency
So very very cool! I love how guys are building so many ships from different Sci-Fi franchises!

Oh wow I wasn't expecting anyone to take my old Starship Troopers dropship and make it even remotely viable as a server ship. I'd love to see what magic has been done to it since i wasn't able to fit enough in it to work well enough back at the time. Inclusion of survival kit is a great idea :D
Love the build (thank you for posting it on the workshop!) and it took some work. Basically it only flies in space and the moon, on earth, it is a rough (crash) landing LOL. LSG is using a mod where hydro thrusters use energy instead of Hydrogen because of the sim speed drop from calculating all that hydrogen moving thru conveyors. So I had to add 4 large reactors and 12 small reactors and a bunch of batteries for this build to work. Where you see the survival kits, is halfway thru the compartment of your original design and the reactors and more batteries are behind it. Great design and it was a pleasure to work with it and edit it, thank you.

"Memento Mori" is a Latin saying the Romans used, meaning "Remember you will die", basically reminding you that life isn't forever and to not waste it, in its first iterations it was "Hominem te memento", "Remember you're a man", which was told to Roman generals as a warning not to be taken by luxury and pride
20:17 regarding the interior hydrogen thrusters, they don't require power, they just need the conveyor system to be powered and fuel to be present.

side thought, using turrets to make thrusters with variable thrust vectoring to enable increased mobility in any given direction.
Would be very interesting if you limited the amount of gyros and Refineries like you did with the new weapons :D

I just got this game, and I'd love to get into building things like this, how in the hell do people make these so big and awesome? Also, I noticed I haven't really seen any aircraft carrier-esque ships, why is that? I mean, they'd need a lot of other ships for protection, but there's bound to be a faction or alliance of factions big enough

Hey Aaron, I'm trying to build a ship where the primary armament is gravity-driven torpedos that are automatically re-built.
The automation is easy but how do i stop the ship from spinning or being pulled when the torpedos gravity-gen is turned on? I have a grinder to grind off the holding block and release the torpedo, I could always make the timer on the torpedo turn the gravity-gen on after the block is ground down, but then you will have a free-floating grid (with a warhead) floating around inside your ship for 0.1-1 second.... How do I stop the grav gen on the torp spinning the ship around? Or am I resigned to having it as a ponderous but effective weapon?

Yes, it is the Space Marine Battle Barge from the workshop (with major overhaul on the inside to make it a mobile base)
Still waiting on that "Very nice Indeed!" coffee mug merch.... I would actually spend money on that, as embarrassed as I am to admit, and I've never bought a CZcamsr's Merch before, but I just like that catch phrase a lot.

LSG, its a base star not a battlestar ;) amazing stuff by the players though all of the factions look sweet.
I think Lex's color scheme reminds me of a slightly over ripe banana. The deep yellow skin with the brown splotches.

Question: Will you make another colony series anytime soon? Captain Jack made alot recently on space engineers and I wish too see you make another S.E. colony series
Jack is fake scripted events and Aaron is more what happens, happens, for events. Its why colony wars ended. It started off as fair team vs team jack constantly lost and had a fit. Then for the remaining parts of the series it all became scripted to please jack's ego. So that is why colony wars ended and why it won't happen again. Aaron wants genuine gameplay and jack wants everyone to follow a script. The two styles cannot mix.

Loved the video @LastStandGamers! Can't wait for the next video man! Loved seeing all the Sci-Fi Builds as well as someone building the Red October as their ship. Can't wait for some action man! Also, I know of the Infamous "Klang Cannons" but I can't say that I'm familiar with the "Klang Drives" that you spoke of in Part 1 yesterday. Also, Has Anyone ever built either an Excelsior-class, Defiant-class, Sovereign-class, Independence-class, Reliant-class or the Akira-class Starships in Space Engineers?

The big gray ship at the TQG facility you start talking about 17 min. in is clearly inspired by the USS Enterprise from the Star TREK series, not anything from Star Wars or Stargate. I HOPE you were DELIBERATELY misidentifying the series for some reason, because it's hard to believe anyone who claims to know anything about TV or movie sci-fi wouldn't know this.
If the intent is to sell the idea of a well-used ship, the rusty yellow probably should be a bit darker (dirty) and a bit more washed out (worn)
