Offensive etiquette. It is not an unwritten rule to not tell “I got it” on a fly ball. That is a rule violation. Interference runner is out all other runners return to previous base, batter is awarded first. Interference can be physical, visual, or verbal. So this would be an example of an interference call.
3-4 seconds of pimping is ok - otherwise you might take one in the ear-hole next ab. All dirty plays will be reciprocated - e.g. If you apply a hard tag, your team will get a hard tag, inside tight pitches etc. 2 straight pickoff moves are ok, 3 will annoy everyone.
I disagree with one aspect of base to base. You take the easy bases when you put a ball in play. Rip one to the fence, get your stand up double, but don’t stretch to third.
Unwritten rules are unwritten for one reason, because if anyone tried to write them down they would look like an idiot. It's even more stupid to follow them.
These supposed unwritten rules with a big lead are garbage u less the team behind abides by the same rules. I umpired a game 21/5 visitors ahead going into the bottom of the 5th. The visitors stopped running and played minimal. Wanna guess what happened in the bottom of the 5th? Yup. Home team came back and won the game. Bet the visitors regretted pulling back. Those are unwritten rules no one should follow. Bad advice.
I like all these tips thank You Coach. 👍⚾🕵️
Sure thing Rodrigo, I’m glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the feedback!
Excellent!
Makes sense there's priority for center fielder & shortstop. Otherwise you might get 2 fielders running into each other trying to catch the ball!
